good morning! hollywood is almost ready for its big day tomorrow – the 81st annual academy awards are taking place literally around the corner from my apartment – this past week has been a bit of a traffic nightmare with hollywood blvd being blocked off for the red carpet but i love the excitement in the air! normally i usually watch the ceremony from home but this year i’ll be over at a viewing party in beverly hills – oscar night at mr. chow presented by leeza gibbons, olivia newton john, and david foster which will help benefit the leeza gibbons memory foundation and olivia newton john’s cancer & wellness centre – i think it should be really fun plus i’m bringing my pal joey with me! the whole event will also be streaming on glam.com (i’ll also post the webcast here on popbytes – so check back in tomorrow at 8 EST/ 5 PST) here’s an interview with leeza talking about the purpose of the night and tomorrow i’ll be twittering like crazy from the event! right now i’m about to head down to the farmer’s market for breakfast with my friend lisa (we’re having a blast hanging out – its been way too long) perhaps we’ll also do a little shopping – maybe i can pick up a new outfit for tomorrow! popbytes over & out for now … xoxo
