“Hi, I’m Lady Gaga, and this is Jackass!”

Lady Gaga

A couple weeks ago, we posted about how Lady Gaga wanted to perform her SXSW set in a giant Dorito’s vending machine, which got denied because that just sounds stupid and expensive. But don’t worry! She had a back-up plan: According to HuffPo, Gaga got spitroasted (literally), rode a mechanical pig bull, and then got puked on by a painter. Oh, and of course it was all sponsored by Doritos, because when you think of Doritos, you think of uncontrollable vomiting …

Gaga’s set began with an attractive woman eating barbecued sausages in a provocative manner. Soon after completing the smoked meats portion of her hourlong show, Gaga invited friend Millie Brown on stage to assist on “Swine.” Brown, a “vomit painter,” proceeded to drink a full bottle of neon green liquid before forcing herself to throw up on the singer as she played drums. The pair then climbed aboard a mechanical bull-like pig equipped with a ball gag and a keyboard. Gaga straddled Brown atop the pig and played the keys as they bucked in circles. Brown then painted Gaga with a black liquid that stained the singer’s skin throughout the performance.

You better believe we have a video, because that’s too weird for us NOT to include a visual reference. Now, as far as staging goes, there’s such a thing as guilding the lily. Pig stuff? Sure. Puke stuff? Why not. But pig AND puke stuff? All right, you may have one too many balls in the air at the same time. I’m just saying, one of those ideas could have supported the show on its own; both is overkill.
