Academy Award winner Gwyneth Paltrow is now a star of a different caliber, adding singing to her ensemble of abilities in the entertainment world. She was signed to Atlantic Records for an undisclosed amount, but reportedly for $900,000. She’s been making waves with her vocals recently with guest spots on Glee and a performance with Cee Lo Green at the Grammy’s so it’s really no surprise that a full-length record was next. The New York Post reports that the album will be “country pop” according to insiders. In other Paltrow news, she revealed her beauty secret on CNN with Piers Morgan, apparently she keeps her trim figure with the use of a pint of Guiness, going further telling the Mirror, “I always have a Guiness before an awards ceremony”. Finally I have complete validation and a celebrity endorsed path to alcoholism. Other beauty secrets include, “blush and a girdle”. Hmm, so that’s how she bagged Chris Martin.
