In a weirdly awesome surprise, TV Guide managed to score an exclusive interview with CSI star Marg Helgenberger, reportedly right after she did a guest stint on season five of RuPaul’s Drag Race, and used it as an excuse to leak a bunch of the guest judges for the upcoming season before anyone else. So of course, we need to report on this because ZOMG RUPAUL’S DRAG RACE. YES. YES YES YES.
When you make as many millions as Marg Helgenberger did during her twelve seasons on CSI, you say yes to projects because they seem fun. So in April, this longtime fan of RuPaul’s Drag Race will be a judge on an episode of the Logo hit (Season five premieres on January 28th). In one competition, the drag queens must make gowns out of candy, a real challenge when you consider I witnessed a licorice dress melt under the hot stage lights. Other judges and special guests this season include Camille Grammer, Juliette Lewis, Kristen Johnston, Paulina Porizkova, Chaz Bono, La Toya Jackson, Aubrey O’Day, Knots Landing vet Joan Van Ark, Jamie-Lynn Sigler, Wilmer Valderrama and attorney Gloria Allred.
