True story: I actually had to drag my boyfriend kicking and screaming to watch the Golden Globes, baiting him with the promise, “but Tina Fey and Amy Poehler will be hosting! They’ll be funny!” Thankfully, I wasn’t disappointed: the Golden Globes were good, wholesome, drunken fun. Glenn Close acted drunk and awesome, all the bits featuring Amy and Tina (including their recurring joke about a fake movie called Dog President) killed, and Anne Hathaway Kanye’d her own movie’s acceptance speech for Best Comedy or Musical.
