Glee vs. The Lohans: Round 2!

Glee

So the back nine of season two of Glee premiered last night, and honestly? It was pretty good. The characters have mellowed out and have stopped being mind-fuckingly irritating, the numbers were amazing and they even managed to get Tina into the middle of things, so all in all? Not too shabbs. Just for shits and giggles, they even went ahead and threw in a joke about Dina Lohan being a loser because really, what else are you supposed to call her? Sober? Hard-working? A competent mother? Ha ha! No.

In the episode, Sue Sylvester (played by Jane Lynch) has a cheerleading experiment go wrong, leading her to be interviewed by Katie Couric. While Sylvester initially think it’s for being one of the most interesting people in the world, Couric let’s her know it’s for being one of the biggest losers — and that she beat out Lindsay’s controversial mom, Dina — and her dog. And of course, in true Lohan fashion it wasn’t long before a self-righteous, victimized statement was leaked to the press:

“They are all a bunch of bullies,” my source seethes. “Dina is hurt and shocked and hasn’t done anything to deserve this constant teasing from this show.” SOURCE

Yeah, of course, Dina’s been a saint, so long as you ignore enabling her drunken, coked-out kelpto of a daughter out of a career and trying to convince her kids that all four food groups consist of free ice cream. Nope, Dina Lohan isn’t a loser. She also isn’t an alcoholic, a delusional nutjob, a crappy parent or a drug dealer. Wow, so this is what it feels like riding on the Denial Express …
