This past week I headed over to The Echo in Silverlake to catch one of the buzz bands of the moment, Broods. The brother and sister pop music duo who hail from New Zealand are 21-year old Caleb and 19-year-old Georgia Nott. After they released their single “Bridges,” they were signed to Capitol Records and dropped their self-titled EP back in January. I kept hearing people talk about these two, so I was finally glad to see and hear what all the fuss was about … they turned out to be amazing live. Georgia simply has an incredible voice, and Caleb is just the dreamiest thing ever, I couldn’t keep my eyes off him. For being newbies on the scene, I thought they did a terrific job of performing live, and I am definitely curious to check out their upcoming full-length album due out this coming August. Watch the music video below for “Bridges,” and pick up their EP over on iTunes.
