‘george clooney and me’ by sarah larson

good morning! even though george clooney is no longer with ‘model’ & cocktail waitress sarah larson – we certainly haven’t seen the last of her annoying self – she’s opening up about her now past relationship with one of hollywood’s sexiest bachelors in the latest issue of hello! magazine (she must have been paid something) girlfriend needs to strike while the breakup iron is still semi-hot – her instant ticket to fame came to a screeching halt and now she’s picking up the pieces and trying to move on…she should totally go live in london since nobody wants to deal with her here (even though she supposedly just talked to george a couple of days ago via phone…i wonder if she thinks leaving him a voicemail counts?) popbytes over & out for now…xxoo (below you can read more of what ms. larson had to say…)

Sarah Larson, the 29-year-old cocktail waitress from Seattle bagged George Clooney – the most eligible bachelor on the planet, now, speaking exclusively to Hello! magazine she reveals that the couple remain friends and she has exciting plans of her own in store.

“George is a great guy, a wonderful person. I don’t regret spending time with him and he’s a great person to get to know. We still remain friends and have kept in touch. In fact, we spoke over the phone a couple of days ago.”

“Most people know George has a great sense of humour and is an adept storyteller, but I will always miss his extraordinary dance moves.”

She describes her the Hollywood actor as “a lot of fun to be around, down to earth and laid back, funny and smart.”

No longer working as a cocktail waitress in Las Vegas, where she first met George, Sarah is using some of the opportunities that a heightened public profile has brought her. Life is sweet, she explains: “I’m very happy with how things are right now. I have a lot of great opportunities, door that have opened and I have no complaints. I travel all the time, I have great friends, great family, I make good money, I have a house. I have all the things I’ve always wanted. I’m in a good place.”

Sarah’s latest venture is to be the new face and body of Christian Audigier’s couture line but modeling is not her long-term ambition. She told Hello!: “Eventually I’d like to start my own business and fade in to background. I think fame is only appealing if you can use it in ways to help people.”

As George Clooney’s girlfriend, Sarah didn’t anticipate the level of recognition and intrusion she’d receive. She explained: “I was warned but I don’t think you realise it until you’re in the middle of it.”

“I’m perfectly capable of handling it, and I’ve done a good job with it so far.”

When asked if she’s dating again, Sarah says: “Not necessarily”, adding, “I don’t need a man to make me happy. I think you should be happy on your won and if you find someone who complements that happiness then that’s a great thing.”

For now, Sarah is focusing on her career, including one assignment that would bring her to the UK. She revealed: “I’ve had some amazing offers come in, including one modeling campaign that may bring me to England soon. I can’t talk about it yet because it’s not a done deal. I hope it happens because I’ve never been to England and I’d love to spend some time there. If I do end up there I could find a nice British boy. I’d be open to the idea. I hear they have a good sense of humour.”
