Some of the hottest bitches in the biz have a diet secret: Leptin. What is Leptin and how do you get it? Marco Borges, trainer to Beyoncé, Jay-Z and Gwen Stefani, breaks it down:



Leptin is a naturally occurring hormone that acts like appetite suppressant because it “suppresses the hunger hormone ‘ghrelin’ and brings about satiety,” he tells Us Magazine.



When leptin levels drop, you get hungry. When they go up, you feel full. Fortunately eating the right foods can naturally increase these levels.



“Before that big [meal], pop a handful of nuts,” Marco advises. “They contain the right amount of protein and fat, which release the hormone leptin.”



However, he warns: “Not all nuts are created equal.”
