Let’s see here … Lindsay Lohan, who’s now virtually unemployable thanks to a high-profile burn out that included unprofessionalism, car accidents, substance abuse and theft? Check. Bret Easton Ellis, who’s successfully gone from acclaimed writer to internet troll? Check. Pornstar James Deen, who is honestly way too good for this project? Check. Throw ’em all together and you have the new trailer for The Canyons (directed by Paul Schrader), or as I like to call it, Stunt Casting: The Motion Picture! Because let’s face it, this movie is less concerned with being good than it is with catching headlines, and you can tell a movie’s going to do well when it eschews quality for the sake of notoriety!
