So there is no denying that this week will go down in history as one of fashion’s most memorable. Why? Mostly in part to Galliano, Lady Gaga‘s catwalk debut and rumours that Dolce & Gabbana‘s diffusion line D&G is to fold into the main line by Spring Summer 2012. There is one image though that takes the cake for everything that has come out of this mania, and that was the final bow at the end of today’s Dior show at Paris Fashion Week, where Galliano was not in attendance, for obvious reasons. This is the entire design team at Christian Dior, clad in white lab coats – testament that the success of a label is not down to just one person.
