Exclusive Interview: PopBytes talks with Kerli
April 22, 2013 MICHAEL KNUDSEN

Kerli

Last month I had the chance to sit down with Estonian pop princess, Kerli, at her Hollywood Hills home, or as she affectionately calls it ‘Bubblegoth Headquarters.’ She recently released her Utopia EP (iTunes) here in the states, with the killer lead dance single “The Lucky Ones,” which I loved and now Kerli is gearing up for the second single, “Love Me or Leave Me,” which she performed just last week on Dancing With The Stars! I was thrilled to spend time with Kerli, she was eccentric (in a fun way), sweet and super adorable as expected. She talked openly and candidly about a wide variety of topics ranging from her early upbringing in the USSR (before Estonia was formed), songwriting, being an outcast teen, to her inspirations and what’s next for her, watch the entire exclusive video interview below.
