oh my gosh – today is duffy‘s big day here in the states – her incredible debut album rockferry is officially on sale here in the US! (just last week i picked up a vinyl copy of the album – although i don’t have a record player – i’m addicted to collecting vinyl – especially 45s) i first posted about the welsh soul singer back at the end of january upon discovery of her kick-ass single mercy – and it has been popping up in all sorts of places (the hills, women’s murder club) duffy was celebrating her stateside release today at the times square virgin megastore where she signed copies of her album and also performed! i can’t wait until she finally does her first los angeles show – i’d like to vote for the roxy to be her first LA venue – hands down the best small venue in town! popbytes over & out for tonight – long live duffy – xxoo
