hey everyone! gosh it was a super good day – that jessica simpson on the STAR magazine cover post sure got around – thanks to some extra linkage love from egotastic & popsugar – my traffic is buzzing like crazy today – so thanks to my fellow bloggers! i haven’t had this kinda traffic since the whole macauley culkin scandal – so rock on! woo hoo!
besides all that hoopla – my new friend ms. joey sent me a link today to the newly posted dreamgirls website promoting the movie version of the broadway show that will be coming to theaters next december ’06 – a whole damn year has to pass before we get to see beyonce play what could be the role of a lifetime or it could go horribly wrong…but by looks of this teaser i have faith that awesome director bill condon (gods & monsters, kinsey) nails this on the head! i literally cannot wait – 12 more months…plus adding to the excitement it was announced the american idol contestant – the awesome jennifer hudson (check out my post when she left idol – it’s a sassy one…be warned ;) ) would be joining the already stellar cast as ‘effie’ – the film also stars jamie foxx & eddie murphy
the weirdest thing though is in this teaser trailer the big show-stopping tune you’re gonna love me is playing BUT it’s being sung by the original dreamgirl herself ms. jennifer holliday – i wonder why they didn’t get a snippet of ms. knowles singing the smash hit…very odd i say! but regardless – go check out the site! party on my gossip friends – i am so stoked tomorrow is friday! over & out – xxoo
