It’s hard to believe our once-teen-tart turns 29 today! Yup, Britney Spears revolves around the Earth one more time today. And do you realize this week’s blend is fantastic, even if thematically its sources are polar opposites? Musically, The Flaming Lips offer their sweet and charming ode to friendships and love, but with the vocal, Britney spits the anagram-laced If U Seek Amy, which is all about partying and getting laid. So while it’s like getting your chocolate in her peanut butter, it’s also just as savory. Germany’s Rillen Rudi brought them together, as he makes his PopBytes debut. Happy birthday, Brit Brit!
