MESSAGE FROM NATALIE, EMILY & MARTIE

To our Fans: Any reports being made about the cancellation of our upcoming Accidents And Accusations tour are completely false.

We have known since March 2003 that our path in this business would have obstacles at every pass. We have enjoyed meeting each one head-on and we will continue to do so. Dixie Chicks fans are as active and dedicated as they come. This time around we are willingly feeling our way through unchartered territory. Things don’t come as easy as they might have come in the past, and it makes each accomplishment more exciting and appreciated.

We will go where the fans are with great anticipation and no regrets. To find out (along with us) where that is, visit www.dixiechicks.com for all updates to Accidents And Accusations tour information.

Love, The Chicks

You’re so lucky. I wish I could go see them. But seeing how things are now I’m pretty sure they will do a European tour so I might be able to after all.

If they want their fan base to stay a bunch of liberal whimps and unpatriotic jerks…go for it…play to half houses and arenas in places you are not liked and shut up about others that don’t play games with our defense and freedom and bow before your stupidty to know what is our enemy, and honor our homeland and president.. and don’t agree with your views on much else.

After they made their anti-american comments I couldn’t care less if they were playing or not. I don’t care if they are not into the President or his policies (I am not happy with many of them), but don’t bag our country….ever.

hmmmm…i don’t think the dixie chicks are unpatriotic in the least! freedom of speech is what this country was founded on – and she just made a stab at president bush which was so blown out of proportion – i mean come on – running over their albums with a bulldozer – that’s ludicrous! they never bagged our country and everyone needs to calm down – and besides all this…they are amazing musicians and gifted songwriters!

…a sad day when three beautiful and talented women cannot voice their opinions without ridicule and threats. i so look forward to seeing them this summer. the previous concerts have been some of the best i have ever seen.

How did you get tickets?? I looked and they’re not on sale yet…
As to the other comments, I for one am proud that the Dixie Chicks are using their talent and authority to speak their mind about real issues. Unlike the other teeny bop music today which discuss clubbing and fashion and doesn’t send a meaningful message to the world. Whether you agree with their message or not, we should all appreciate that their expressing their right to share it.

Voicing an opinion is the right of every single person on this planet. George Bush was stopping many people’s opinions by forcing the war. Did those who got angry with the Dixie chicks get angry with George Bush? Did they go stomp down the White House? You don’t solve war and hatred by making violence. You solve it with peace. You stand up for what you believe in, through the eyes of peace. The right of free speech is what the Governments intend on taking away from us, making those who stand up for what is right, to seem wrong. Think about that before you judge!
