oh i’ve been running all over NYC over the past few days (and had a blast doing it) but thankfully i was able to watch last night’s episode of saturday night live with host betty white (and musical guest jay-z) it was hands down one of the best episodes – ever – plus a whole bunch of my favorite SNL alums returned for the good times with ms. white including molly shannon, ana gasteyer, maya rudolph, amy poehler, and tina fey! my favorite segment was NPR’s delicious dish which you can watch below as betty brings her brand new muffins for the ladies (gasteyer & shannon) to sample – it totally reminded me of the classic schweddy balls skit with alec baldwin! i can’t believe ms. white is 88-years-old – girlfriend has more energy than i do (watch her opening monologue and more clips) she’s a total national treasure – i’m thrilled NBC gave her the chance to host after everyone clamored for it to happen – i bet it turned out to be a ratings goldmine! popbytes over & out for now … xoxo
