hey hey! now let me preface this post by saying i do love cyndi lauper (who i think is seriously underrated … she’s amazing and has done such great work over the years) but her hairstyle last night at mandela day: a 46664 celebration over in NYC was out of control – she does look great for being 56 (of course we can detect the use of some botox) but her poodle hairdo is just wrong … she could easily be the long-lost love child of fitness guru richard simmons and little orphan annie! hopefully this was just a one-time thing – i’ll forgive her this time since fashion faux pas can (and often do) happen to everyone now & again! rocking alongside her on the red carpet was my dear lil’ kim who looked totally fabulous (she definitely lost weight after appearing on dancing with the stars – and thankfully she’s kept her fit look up) unfortunately she decided to duet with ms. lauper on the classic hit time after time and girlfriend should stick to rapping … i hate to say this but her singing was awful (watch the performance and decide for yourself) whoever came up with that idea should have done everybody a huge favor and kept it to themselves! popbytes over & out for tonight … xoxo (i can’t believe tomorrow is already monday – this weekend flew right by me – ugh!)
