oh my word – this is just plain crazy people – first isaac hayes quits his role as ‘chef’ on south park because they were making fun of his ‘religion’ scientology – and now it is rumored that tom cruise (yes that tom cruise…) stopped a repeat airing of the show that really took big fun swings & pokes at the whole scientology set-up & scam…
a repeat of an episode that first played back in november was up for repeat next wednesday night at 10pm – well lo & behold it will not be shown…reports are claiming that mr. tomkat threatened to do no press (which would derail its success) for his upcoming film mission impossible 3 – which happens to be a paramount studios film – a studio owned by the good ol’ boys over at viacom who also own ‘comedy central’ where ‘south park’ airs – cruise reps are screaming denial but it is all too coincidental to me…no matters anyways – first ‘south park’ is getting great press out of this whole scandal and i think MI3 will suck & bomb at the box-office anyways – people are not nearly as big of fans o’ cruise as they used to be – can you say major decline in public image?
i am so not one to mock peoples belief or religions (i am not religious in the slightest – who has the time?) but all the stuff i have read and learned about scientology is just plain weird & wacky…seriously! and if cruise is playing these lame ass fucked up games then ms. katie needs to be extra super worried…check out the entire episode for yourself over at youtube.com – popbytes over & out until tomorrow – xxoo!
