oh kids – so much TV keeps popping up here and there – its getting really hard to keep track of! and tonight is the much hyped and anticipated premiere of the boxing reality show the contender produced by mark burnett in association with sylvester stallone – this show has been plagued from the beginning – so it will be interesting to see how it all turns out – i hope its better than the fox version a few months back – ‘the next great champ’ – so tune in tonight to NBC and check it out…
The Contender will follow 16 professional boxers as they come to a training camp to follow their dream of becoming a champion boxer. The driving force behind the series will be the pursuit of the American dream and the natural trials, tribulations and heartbreak inherent in that quest.
