hey hey! so even though i find GAP clothing to be the pinnacle of mediocrity and super banal – the company does usually manage to score themselves a few clever ad campaigns…included in the cool bunch is their latest commercial (posted below) for ‘the boyfriend trouser’ (gosh that’s such a lame term…i bet some marketing person thought they were oh so clever that day) you wouldn’t catch me dead in a pair of khakis – ugh – i loathe them! (especially pleats)


the ad stars actors claire danes & hottie patrick wilson who make the ad shine with their adorable & playful performance set to the tune of anything you can do, i can do better from one of my favorite musicals ‘annie get your gun’ sung by the one and only ethel merman along with bruce yarnell plus the thirty-second spot was actually directed by jonathan dayton and valerie faris
– the husband & wife team behind ‘little miss sunshine’ and tons of kick-ass music videos – a total nice score for the store to nab some awesome talent! popbytes over & out for now…xxoo!
