hi! is it already thursday? time for another mashup from my pal DJ paul v. who brings us christina aguilera mashed up with the andrews sisters who for sure provided ms. aguilera inspiration for her 1940′s influenced album back to basics – you could totally see them all up on stage together doing their thing! soon it looks like christina will be doing the mommy thing – word is she’s about to announce any day now that she’s pregnant with hubby jordan bratman – i bet she’ll be a classy mom along the lines of gwen stefani rather than how britney spears is choosing to deal with motherhood! (not that brit is a bad mom but she has been a bit out of control at times…) enjoy the fun track below and i’ll be back later – xxoo!

This week we once again prove that everything old eventually becomes new again. Did any of you instantly think of the Andrew Sisters when you first heard ‘Candyman’ from Christina Aguilera off her ‘Back to Basics’ album? If you didn’t know, the Andrew Sisters were million-sellers during the other big war (World War II). Anyway, it was only a matter of time till a sharp masher (this time Carty in the UK) made his own confection of the old & the new – while sprinkling some Fun Boy 3, Lou Bega, Perez Prado & more on top! Your parents will love this too!
