Chris Robinson, who’s famous for banging Kate Hudson and pretty much nothing else, is calling Taylor Swift a ‘horrible’ artist. Just to put this in perspective: When was the last time you bought a Black Crowes album? When was the last time you even heard a Black Crowes song? Do you even know who the Black Crowes are? Exactly.
Robinson, said of Swift’s music: “I find it embarrassing that adults are like, ‘Taylor Swift is very talented.’ She’s not. She might be cute, but she’s horrible,” he told the magazine. He then ranted about packaged artists. ‘They have stylists who dress them, they make records with producers who play a chord into the computer and it all comes out the same…When you have computers doing it all for you … there’s no individuality. Singing isn’t always about being on key; it’s about emotionality.’ SOURCE
Look, I may listen to stuff like Feist and Metric, but I have to admit: Taylor Swift is a likable artist, and she does actually have talent. Man, I feel really weird saying that out loud, but it’s true: She’s not horrible. She’s actually pretty good. So fuck you, guy who used to bang Kate Hudson.
