good evening! i had to run a few errands tonight – my last semi-daunting chore was to pick up a few groceries at ralphs – and there i am standing on the checkout line and i noticed charlize theron nabbed the new cover of vogue (oct ’07) looking stunning as always! she for sure is one of today’s best actresses (and already an academy award winner for her brilliant performance in monster) plus she’s simply gorgeous – tall – and quite elegant! if you haven’t seen her latest film in the valley of elah – i would totally recommend seeing it – i wanted to do a full review of the movie here on popbytes but i had a hard time putting my thoughts together over the film – it’s very intense & serious – it’ll keep you thinking for days after seeing it – i’m really hoping tommy lee jones nabs himself a best actor nomination at the upcoming oscars – he really deserves it – charlize is great as well but no doubt it’s mr. jones who steals the show! below are a couple of shots from her photo shoot with legendary photographer mario testino – check out more pictures and the accompanying article at home on the range over on the magazine’s website!
i’m finally about to sit down & watch pushing daisies which i have purposely read very little about – i know there’s a lot of buzz over the show and i’ll decide soon whether it’ll be included in my regular TV schedule! (aka a tivo season pass) popbytes over & out for tonight…xxoo!
