britney spears will set the record straight!

hey hey! it was just announced that britney spears will be partaking in 90 minute documentary tentatively called for the record – scheduled to air over on MTV on november 30th – just two days before her 27th birthday and the release of her highly anticipated new comeback album circus (december 2nd) i’ve been obsessing over her new single womanizer (tomorrow night on 20/20 the video will debut) and i’m extra excited to hear the rest of the album! watch a preview of the documentary below – although i do sometimes miss britney being all crazy & messy – i’m so glad that she finally got her head screwed back on straight! (now if only amy winehouse could manage to do the same thing…) popbytes over & out for now…xoxo

“So much has gone on over the last couple of years and there’s a lot that people don’t know about me that I want them to know,” Spears told MTV News in a statement about the special. “I wanted to make this film because I started to feel like I wasn’t being seen in the light that I wanted to be seen in. This is an opportunity to set the record straight and talk about what I’ve been through and where I’m headed.”

The documentary combines personal stories with behind-the-scenes footage of her comeback. Cameras follow her to the recording studio, to rehearsals, to press tours, to the video shoot for her latest single, “Womanizer,” and even to her hometown in Louisiana. Backstage footage from her recent triumphant appearance at the Video Music Awards is also featured. SOURCE
