good evening! oh my word – the past twenty-four hours have been a little crazy – if you follow me on twitter – you know last night i burned my stomach with hot oil and butter (lesson learned: wear a shirt or apron while cooking), today my engine light came on (i need to get the transmission checked – major ugh), and then i tried to save a small dog who was stranded on the side of the 101 freeway but no luck – all the dog wanted to do was bark – i even tried luring it with a piece of liverwurst (i had a craving for it and picked some up at the grocery store so i happened to have it in the car with me) i felt awful leaving the dog behind but i did everything i could! (plus the spot i stopped at was on the entrance ramp – not a very safe place) i swear tonight better be low-key and stress-free … i’m really looking forward to a new episode of true blood – followed by the 3rd season premiere of mad men! right now i’ve got pictures of britney spears hanging by the pool in a bright hot pink bikini over at the ritz-carlton hotel here in los angeles – ms. spears looks great! she’s been busy getting in a little well-deserved rest & relaxation (and shopping time) before the second north american leg of her circus tour kicks off on august 20th up in canada – ending on september 27th in las vegas – then girlfriend heads down under for six shows in australia – i’d love to go see her show again yet i’m trying to do something i never do – save my money! popbytes over & out for tonight … xoxo
