good evening! i did a post about jordin sparks earlier today – and it got me thinking about what cutie blake lewis is up to … as you may recall blake came in 2nd place after ms. sparks was crowned the winner of the 6th season of american idol! although his debut album audio day dream wasn’t a huge commercial success – i really liked it – i even gave it an honorable mention in my top favorite albums of 2007! mr. lewis is about to drop his sophomore effort (october 6th on tommy boy) called heartbreak on vinyl – below is the video for the 1st single sad song – i’m not freaking out over the song but it’s decent – i can’t wait to hear more new material! he’s actually doing an intimate gig on october 8th to celebrate the new album – over at the roxy (my top LA haunt) i am so going to be there to cheer him on – he’s super adorable and quite talented! popbytes over & out for now … xoxo
