Seriously, BWE was one of the first blogs I ever read religiously, so seeing it come to a close was legit sad. But good news, everyone: The show is coming back, I could not be happier. YAY! After a three-year hiatus, the audience favorite — which recounted the week’s pop culture and celebrity happenings from 2004 to 2009 — will return to anchor VH1′s new Friday night Humor Block. “This is exactly the right moment to bring back this iconic show,” said Jeff Olde, VH1′s executive vice president of original programming and production, at the Television Critics Association Summer Press Tour on Friday. “We’ll update this series for today’s social-media-charged world for a bester Best Week Ever.”
Actually, is there any chance that Michelle Collins might pop back in for a visit? I know she’s working as a producer on Kathy Griffin‘s Bravo talk show now (which was just picked up for another season), but still, it would be cool to see her pop back in, we love Michelle here on PopBytes!
