 | hey kids its tuesday – and im stoked for the return of the faux reality show joe schmo 2 – i assigned it as popbytes homework to my key peeps – i hope yr all gonna watch! at least spiketv is good like that tho – you can catch it throughout the week (unlike say survivor – miss a week and it never repeats!) so that should be fun – and i will admit to being behind in my oprah summer reading of tolstoy – she did manage to get anna karenina at the top of the book charts – so like i say oprah says go – and we run! i hear that the olympic torch is to be carried down hollywood blvd around 1pm – being held by funny lady ellen degeneres – so i will be sure to try and catch a few snaps of that…altho i am a complete non-sports fan – im kinda looking forward to the summer olympics in greece – i actually had zero interest in the last winter round – and then boom – i was hooked for like 2 straight weeks – the way nbc presented it was quite entertaining – and i hope they do the same for the upcoming greek fest i no longer desire to see STEPford wives i have had three people tell me it wasnt very good – so i shall pass up the oppty to the ice queen in action – poor katherine ross must be rolling over in her grave – they should have left well enough alone – remakes never thrill me (did you all see the ‘scene by scene’ remake of psycho – with psycho lady anne heche – what a waste of time and film) oh how funny i was able to mention ellen and anne on the same page – totally unrelated! anyways – i actually had to see the psycho remake the day it came out – first showing (i saw a few pre-screenings in NYC – but nothing like i have seen in LA – if you like movies – this is your town!) – who knew why i had to be there – what wa si to witness – nothing but a snooze fest – a pale comparison to the cinematic genius of the late great alfred hitchcock – he knew how to make movie! popbytes out! |
