For some reason, Angus T. Jones went on a public screed about how Two and a Half Men was filth, and somehow managed to not get fired. Except now Ashton Kutcher is campaigning hard to have Angus fired, because really, when you get paid $350,000 per episode and you decide to take a steaming dump on that because some smooth talking preacher told you so, you kinda deserve to get kicked to the curb. From Showbiz Spy:
“Right after Angus appeared on that video with his controversial religious guru and trashed the show, Ashton totally exploded,” said a show insider. “He marched right in to the bosses and told them, ‘Angus is a spoiled brat — and I want him off this show!’
“The producers aren’t happy themselves, obviously, but they haven’t made a decision. And to be fair, there was absolutely no change in the show’s high ratings after Angus trashed it – and his co-workers. Plus, he keeps apologizing profusely, so execs are considering their next move carefully.
I want you to try something here: I want you to march up to your boss, brandish a Bible at him, and tell him that your company produces filth and that no one should use your workplace’s goods or services. How long do you think it would take before you were fired? Exactly. Angus doesn’t deserve a job if this is the kind of unprofessional crap he’s going to pull on them.
