good morning! here's yet another reason to tune into the new season of nip/tuck which kicks off over on FX on october 14th ... seeing cutie mario lopez in a sexy lingerie getup! he's reprising his guest role as plastic surgeon 'dr. mike hamoui' - last seen back in season four (2006) - it looks like this time around he'll be getting hot & heavy with 'kimber henry' played by kelly carlson - watch a preview of season six - i think this season could turn out to be a hot one! popbytes over & out for now ... xoxo
good morning everyone! so to answer my own question ... i'm not ready for the end of nip/tuck but unfortunately i do think it's time to say goodbye! the last six episodes of the series are set to air starting on october 14th over on FX (watch the new promo set to the timbaland's beats below) this has been one of my favorite series ever however the last few seasons haven't been all that great - at the end there will be a total of 100 episodes - a fitting number to go out on! kudos to series creator ryan murphy for six fun seasons - and i must say his new show glee on FOX is quite possibly one of the best shows ever (brand new episodes start on september 9th) i already previewed two new episodes and both were totally incredible - it's bound to be a hit! popbytes over & out for now ... xoxo
PS for some reason i got all confused ... the 6th season is indeed the final one but it's being split into two parts (19 episodes in all) 10 episodes will air starting october 14th - and the last remaining 9 episodes will air sometime next year - so we don't technically have to say goodbye just yet ... woo hoo
(please be warned: there are spoilers ahead) hey hey! i finally got around to watching the season finale of nip/tuck (season #5) and dr. christian troy (hottie julian mcmahon) actually got married to his long-time friend (and anesthesiologist) liz cruz (played by roma maffia) which if you haven't been watching the show lately - that must seem like a very odd combination (with liz being a lesbian and all) but this 2nd half of the season had christian diagnosed with cancer and given only six months to live - the two formed a pretty strong bond (she played caretaker while he was on chemotherapy) and it just kind of made sense to him to spend the last few months of his life with someone he genuinely cared about and who could be a mother to wilbur
of course kimber henry (kelly carlson) unsuccessfully tried to ruin the union (she always brings the drama - i LOVE her character) and liz & christian were pronounced husband & wife! being the season finale - they did leave us with a small cliffhanger - it turned out christian's medical records were switched and his cancer is actually in remission and he's not dying - which he found out right before leaving for his honeymoon in italy ... so will he stay married or end up bailing out on liz? (knowing dr. troy he'll find a way to get out of the marriage) as for dr. sean mcnamara (cutie dylan walsh) he's been hanging out with this shady lady (another anesthesiologist) and she's definitely up to no good (leading a double life - and killing people!) and it looks like sean might end up getting himself all jacked up on nitrous oxide and other narcotics!
unfortunately we'll have to wait until next january for the start of season #6 - which FX will only be showing half of - the second half (the series' last episodes - there will be 100 episodes in total) won't air until the start of 2011! when i heard that i thought 'oh my gosh - talk about stretching something out!' sadly i do think it's time to end the series - it had a great run but the show was wearing a bit thin this season! hopefully nip/tuck can go out on a high note - i'm really curious to see what will transpire on the last episodes (we so need to see more of julia (joely richardson)) popbytes over & out for now ... xoxo
good evening! we're only a few weeks away from the continuation of season #5 of my beloved nip/tuck - sadly the season got cut short last year because of that writers' strike (and soon we might have actors striking...ugh) there will be only eight new episodes but thankfully i got word today there will indeed be a season #6! luckily i had the opportunity to preview the first new episode which will air on FX on january 6th - the plot picks up right where it left off - with crazy lady colleen rose (played by the amazing sharon gless) stabbing dr. sean mcnamara (cutie pie dylan walsh) in the back - literally! this season hasn't been my favorite - i think i preferred the doctors living down in miami but it's still one of the best shows on TV right now - plus the night after the show's premiere - we've got the 2nd season of damages (i'm still half-way through the first season - it's an INCREDIBLE show - glenn close is brilliant as ruthless litigator patty hewes) check out the new poster for nip/tuck below along with a video promo featuring kanye west's killer track flashing lights - it's so hot! right now i'm trying to stay warm - it's freezing & wet here in los angeles - i hate it but i guess it could be worse! popbytes over & out for tonight...xoxo
good evening everyone! i was so excited the other day to find out two of my favorite shows will be returning to FX at the beginning of next year - nip/tuck is coming back for its 6th season starting tuesday january 6th - the following night damages is back for a 2nd season (i still need to catch up on the first season - i'm about halfway through - it kicks ass) hopefully 'nip/tuck' will be better this time around than last - it wasn't horrible but i think they can do a better job (plus it was cut short by eight episodes because of the writers' strike) when we last left 'dr. mcnamara' (dylan walsh) he was attacked by that super crazy lady 'colleen rose' (played to perfection by sharon gless) and left for dead - luckily by the looks of the promo below (featuring kanye west's 'flashing lights) 'dr. troy' (julian mcmahon) finds him - just in time! i hope everyone is enjoying their friday night - thank heavens the weekend is finally here - popbytes over & out for tonight...xoxo (oh and i just had to add that i adorekelly carlson who will be back as kimber henry)
oh my gosh - did anyone else watch nip/tuck last week?!? it was one of the craziest episodes ever - i felt a little sick to my stomach after seeing sharon gless' character 'colleen rose' go totally nuts...she's dr. sean's (played by dylan walsh) new hollywood agent - who at first appeared to be fierce - she's now gone psycho! when a much bigger slick agency tried to woo sean into signing with them - she set up a meeting with the new agent - who thought sean would also be joining them - golly - he was so wrong - the whole thing was a set-up! after he insulted her a few times about her lack of clients and failing business - colleen busted him over the head knocking him out cold!
upon waking up he found himself strapped to a chair - colleen wheeled out a big stuffing machine - and proceeded to kill him by stuffing him like a teddy bear - literally! (then she added two button eyes!) what an awful way to die - not good times! (i'm so never going in that 'build-a-bear' shop!) kudos to the show's team for coming up with something that genuinely gave me chills (i can't even watch it again!) plus bravo to ms. gless for pulling off the madness - she's great! i can't wait to see what happens next week...as of now teddy obsessed ms. rose has gotten away with the crime yet i bet not for long! the clip is posted below - the scene kicks off at about 1:40 - you must watch - pure craziness! popbytes over & out for tonight...xxoo!
good morning! luckily i was able to go back to sleep after posting the oscarnominations earlier - and tonight we've got a brand new nip/tuck (the 9th episode of the 5th season) and there's more guest stars including sharon gless (remember cagney & lacey?) and oscar winner marlee matlin - i haven't posted much about this season - of course i'm still enjoying the show but it for sure is a bit over the top this time around - i liked the change of locale but the show seems hung up on the fact the doctors are in hollywood - if there is a 6th season - they should send them back to miami - does anybody else agree? popbytes over & out for now...xxoo!

good morning & happy friday! i hope everyone has been watching nip/tuck - this past week 'julia' (joely richardson) came to visit from new york city with her new girlfriend in tow played by portia di rossi which kind of stunned both 'dr. troy' (julian mcmahon) and 'dr. mcnamara' (dylan walsh) but by the looks of a new still below from next week's episode old flames die hard - could julia be falling back under dr. troy's spell?!? don't forget they have a long history together - plus they're the biological parents of 'matt' (jon hensley) who will appearing next week for the first time this season along with his new baby named 'jenna' that he had with 'kimber' (kelly carlson) things seem to be heating up as the season progresses - i'm praying this season isn't cut short because of the writers' strike which is still on! i have a sinking feeling it will be going on for a lot longer than we might think...popbytes over & out for now - xxoo!
good morning! of course i wouldn't dare miss posting about the 5th season premiere of nip/tuck tonight over on FX - i already screened the first two episodes and i think seasoned fans will enjoy the doctors' new los angeles antics (their new larger plastic surgery office is gorgeous) plus it's a perfect opportunity for first time viewers to jump into the series - i'll admit that i thought the first episode was slightly on overload mode (i know you'll enjoy guest star jennifer coolidge for sure) but the 2nd one really roped me in with a more typical episode and i've heard the episodes only get better after that! i'm dying to see what's in store for 'dr. mcnamara' & 'dr. troy'! below is an amazing promotional image (that i haven't seen posted in many places) of the two hotties aka julian mcmahon & dylan walsh holding up an angel whose wings have been removed...i love all the angel imagery used to promote the new season's change of locale from miami to the city of angels (aka los angeles) so please don't forget to tune in tonight! popbytes over & out for now...xxoo!
good evening! it's all about nip/tuck this week - you all know i'm a total fiend for the FX cable series and tonight i was super lucky to secure a spot on the red carpet tonight where stars dylan walsh & julian mcmahon came out to officially launch the opening of mcnamara / troy | los angeles!
there's a whole kick-ass promo set up over in the hollywood & highland complex (that must have cost a ton of money) which is supposed to resemble their new plastic surgery office (in the 4th season finale the doctors moved their practice from miami to the city of angels where season #5 will take place) you can stop by and leave voicemails for the doctors and at night there's this neat hologram (photos from the making of are below) playing of the two doctors removing the bandages of a lovely lady (who was also on the red carpet tonight...i asked her who was responsible for her cute green dress - she replied 'it's a secret' - in reality i don't think she knew who made it at all but she was way sweet & quite gorgeous!)
anyways i also ran into blog pals ms. lisa timmons & mr. wayne ford from a socialite's life (along with cutie intern michael) which made the wait much more bearable - plus i made a new friend ms. kelly who was really nice & funny - she writes for ramblings of a TV whore - things can get a little tight when you're covering the carpet - we all felt the crunch - but thankfully us bloggers got to speak with mr. walsh & mr. mcmahon for a bit of time - i snapped some pictures which are posted below (i so need to get myself a better camera very soon) there's also a drop of video - the last clip was when those two cuties were talking with us - you'll see lisa from ASL make a special appearance - then she tossed it back to me which threw me for a loop and i became all semi-speechless (and sweaty!) when i got home and watched the footage i realized i left the camera on - you can see the whole fumble at the end of the video clip embedded below! we did get in a question about rosie o'donnell and both guys guy agreed she's fun to work with (as long as you're not on her shit list - which is my own observation - they said nothing but nice things about her)
mr. walsh & mr. mcmahon were both so adorably sexy & gracious in person - gosh i was a drop nervous - julian is a slightly shifty character - you can tell he's got a bad boy streak but damn - he's fucking gorgeous! dylan was so sweet - he seems kinda shy - oh he's quite sexy and tonight i thought to myself that i might actually choose 'dr. mcnamara' as the cutest one! (plus he's a way better dresser) many thanks to kristy and the gang over at FX for helping a blog out - i freakin' love nip/tuck!
