holy shit – the 4th season premiere of alias was one of the best episodes ever! the show did not disappoint an ounce – from start to the excellent ending – popbytes loved it! twas like a movie – the story tied up some business from last season – and laid out an excellent albeit twisted plotline for the new season – and i think for people who haven’t seen alias before – i think this was a perfect introduction to this thrilling kick-ass action show – twists and turns were abound – and the guest spot by ms. angela bassett was a perfect touch – jennifer garner kicked it up a few notches as always – garner’s real-life now ex-boyfriend michael vartan was cute as ever – and i just love victor garber who plays jack bristow and ron rifkin as arvin sloane are acting vets that still so have it – its late but i had to say popbytes was truly excited and satisfied and am happy i had been going on about it like a lunatic – so keep watching – there is a new episode next wednesday! and tonight it’s the premiere of the new reality show wickedly perfect where people face off to be the ultimate style/home maker – with host ms. joan lunden! ok popbytes out and dreaming of the kick-ass season to come on alias


ps – jennifer garner has been reported recovering and up to attending her elektra premiere this saturday in sin city las vegas!

i dont think popbytes has said it enough! im dying for the return of this excellent show – and angela bassett joins the cast – a sure extra added bonus – and as i strolled to lunch today – i spotted a helicopter flying a huge alias banner – touting the series season premiere tonight – and don’t forget lost that airs right before the 2-hour alias kickoff! and get well wishes to jennifer garner who came down with a viral infection and she has cancelled some press relating to her return as spy sidney bristow – as well as her action spin-off flick elektra (spawned from boyfriend ben afflecks daredevil) – which is due in theaters this month – so rest up!

ok im not making a red cent on the banner above (i just grabbed it from abc.com!) – BUT i had to put it up when i saw it – since im such a huge fan & supporter of this show – i had to show it! im sure my buddy jason c. will approve – we are like alias junkies – so shit make sure you tune in jan 5th for a hot new season – and it will be on the same night as lost – so wednesdays will be all about ABC – and oh yeah dolly parton ruled! i just cant help thinking/talking about it!

hey all – oh its a holiday weekend! time to catch up! i finally caught up with my beloved ALIAS – i had been behind – but all were safely stored on my tivo! oh the season finale was a nailbiter – and what information could have sydney find out – that dad jack said she was ‘never’ supposed to find – but alas its a season finale – and she found it – guess we will have to wait till sept to see what more shocking news does to ms. bristow…what a fun season – but next season we need irina (lena olin) – i demand it!

wilson phillips – california – is back after 12 years!!! i couldnt be more please since i loved these gals back in the early 90′s – HOLD ON is such a great song – as is release me – so the gals are back with carnie all skinny and such (im sure u knew that) – altho i find it to be a weak collection of past hits from their parents – its great to hear them all singing again with each other – a total cheese cd – but its kinda fun! come on – you all want to hear them sing monday monday and turn turn turn!!! who could pass it up?!?


pj harvey – uh huh her – my gal is back – its been four years since her stories from the city, stories from the sea – and i am happy to announce her new album due in stores june 8th – is pj at her best – its bit more dark, desolate, and eerie than her last venture – but her gloriously kinda morbid and creepy voice all with its moans, groans, and whispers are pure bliss! and she will be touring with the album – so keep yr ears open for dates in a city near you!

i do hope your all tuning in for the last show of another amazing alias season – i swear – and my alias buddy jason c. agrees – its like a mini-movie every episode – twists here and there – i swear its constant rollercoaster ride – and one you want to ride time & time again! – and what a better ride operator than jen garner – she just rocks this show along with some acting veterans like victor garber and ron rifkin – but alas i am still awaiting the return of irina – sydney’s mom – played by the hugely underrated lena olin – i do love her eerie ways! and now there is all this ‘finale’ talk of sydneys ‘secret’ past – will she go to the other side?? – and whats up with her sister? oh its wild ride thanks to the creative genius of creator jj abrams – so if yr not an alias seasoned fan – go rent or better yet buy all the seasons on dvd – this is a series not to be missed – its heartstopping every single second! i cant wait to see what season five has in store for all of us!

and tomorrow night (monday) – the moment we have all been waiting for (in entertainment weekly they mused this was the reason lucifer finally got a tivo) – its the 2 hour season finale of the swan – the pagent is on!! now i think to really mix it up they should toss in non-surgerized contestants to compete among the plastic surgery cut-up gals – that would be highly cruel and interesting! – and im sure there will be some sort of promo for the swan 2 – because i can smell it coming…and what twist could fox add to this one to spice it up?? i have no idea who will emerge this time around as the first swan all a la kelly clarkson (original idol = original swan) – and maybe the swan can swing! a little network cross promotion – i can see it now – ‘the swan’ battles ‘the idol’ in the ultimate showdown!


and tues – the big finale for american idol – from the kodak theater here in hollywood – i think fox is already laying cables over there like an idol zoo scenw – and i cant wait to see my inner predict from the start fantasia to bring it home and become an idol different from the rest – some variety please people! popbytes out!
