MONDAY POPBYTES UPDATE!

hey my pop friends - ah yes - monday is moving on - and we can rest a little easier knowing that our dear dick clark will be back hosting new year's eve - this time with a co-host - yes our dear hottie ryan seacrest (thanks to my mom for sending me that tidbit - she loves ryan!) - so no worries on new year's - im mainly glad that mr. clark will be back this year! he is progressing well - recovering from his stroke last year...anyways just wanted to fill you all in on some fun tidbits going on at popbytes - monday is a slow pop day anyways...

i am super stoked to have gotten an invite to an advance screening of the new flick coming out in sept everything is illuminated - this is one of my first invites based on popbytes - so i am tickled pink about it all - and don't worry - i for sure will post all about it when it happens in just a few weeks - in the meantime check out my post about this movie from the other day...


two invites in one day? could monday be any better for me? on aug 24th - the new film assassin by stand-up comedian margaret cho is to 'world premiere' at the egyptian theater (literally down my block - about 10 seconds away) - and the movie will then premiere on here!TV (a new very cool gay & lesbian cable channel!) - i'm sure the film will be hysterical - as ms. cho always is - and the premiere sounds fun - with margaret appearing in person...i will keep you all in the loop on this - no worries! rock on!


the pamela anderson roast was so fucking hilarious - i loved it - a lot more raunchy than i thought - and seeing dear bea arthur up there was a real treat - what a comedic legend (who doesn't love maude???) - and yes she is getting up there - but her wits are still quite sharp - i was so glad she attended - overall it was one of the best things i have watched in a while - i really dig 'roasts' they should do them more often - so if you didn't see it - please check it out during rerun mania on comedy central! and oh yes my courtney was in full 'courtney-mode' - what a whack job but i just adore her! and finally to pam - you were a total sport about the whole thing plus you raised money for a very good organization (we all know popbytes loves animals!) PETA - you are quite a gal pam - i do think america loves ya! (well at least i do!)


and to top it all off (ie the cherry on top) - i had traffic record today! over 2,100+ people came by way of popbytes today! i'm totally beaming about it - it has been slow and steady - 2 years counting - but it does keep growing - so as long as it goes up - i am thrilled! so much love to all who come to popbytes - i really appreciate it - and i hope to continue to entertain & enlighten you to all and any of the pop craziness that goes down round these parts - carry on - CARRY ON! popbytes so outtie for now...

MOANDAY POP BLUES

hey kids - what is going on with all of you? not too much here in sunny los angeles but i do feel i am in a mid-summer pop slump/depression - so i figured to just be a little random and jot down a few of my recent thoughts here...

so saturday i went to the new tammy faye doc tammy faye: death defying - and it was superb - tammy was there - looked amazing & did a lovely Q+A after the film - it was all so hectic at the end so i didn't get to meet her - but i was able to snap a pic of me with her (she had the most amazing blue eyes) - and a few other pics of the event (charlene tilton was there - from dallas) - i will be posting those very soon - all in all - yes i would have loved to met tammy and chatted her for a few - but just being in gracious and spiritual presence was enough - i felt blessed - so rock on tammy! and look for the film's premiere on the WE network on july 25th - i can't recommend it enough - and oh yes love to muffin and tuppins aka her adorable little dogs!

as i write this post i am watching the season finale of ABC's the scholar - i didn't even mention it once here - but i have been watching it for the past few weeks - i think i might have been the only one (i think my dear dana of the apprentice column has been watching too - hey d!) but it was pretty decent - a bunch of high school kids competed for scholarship money and one lucky person got a full ride - congrats to ms. melissa!

oh that big brother 6 - i finally caught up with last thursday/saturday - it sure is a summer of secrets - they found a hidden room - how cool - and darling host julie chen promises many more twists & turns - and finally we were let in on who is partnered with who in the game (each houseguest is teamed with another 'secretly') - i am totally hooked on this season - so be sure to check-in tomorrow night - and gosh can i just tell you that my dear kevin bought the 24/7 live video/audio stream - and the poor thing is addicted - and i soon may be too - he showed me a quick glimpse - and i was blown away - i think i may need to get in on the stream as well - who knew voyeurism could be so darn fun and sassy?!?

jeez its getting cold in los angeles! and im due to be in NYC this week - i think it will be a 'bit' colder there - so i dug my cool diesel winter coat out of closet storage - so i am just getting prepped for the journey back east!

jeez that desperate housewives is sure keeping the energy and thrills up! it is great - and last night was no let down! but i swear to be back tomorrow to catch you all up on the brilliance of oprah's favorite things show today - and i think the movie below - closer is going to rock - i saw the play in nyc with natasha richardson - and twas excellent! popbytes very short, moody & out!

quick update! i had a bunch of scrambling to do - including securing new hosting and having to move my images all around but most of em are back! so here is the latest moanday update - enjoy - and i will be back tomorrow with some choice music selctions for the brand new tunes for a tuesday

BRITNEY GETS HITCHED oh that girl sure stole some of emmy's thunder - she got hitched in a surpise ceremony in studio city (at the house of kevin federline's tailor - thats weird) anyways mom lynn and sister jaime were in attendance - all thought to be there for an engagement party - but alas ms. spears did it again - and its already lasted longer than her last 55 hr nuptials...and she gave out kabballah gift bags inscribed with the hebrew saying 'power to heal' - and all of his guys left with jackets with the word 'pimp' inscribed on the back - i swear i feel like im in the twilight zone...and be sure to catch her latest 'racy' video for her remake of bobby brown's tune my perogative - all i know is that i would not make the career choice to cover a bobby brown song - but britney just seems to keep heading down a very odd path - maybe britney & and new hubby kevin should move in with whitney and bobby and do a reality show! that could be fun!
OH THE EMMY'S they were just ok - it gets a bit long after three hours - but congrats for sure to angels in america which snagged 11 wins - and if you havent seen the powerhouse HBO production of tony kushner's very powerful and moving play - please do yourself a favor and see it! also congrats to sex & the city who all went out in emmy style - especially emmy winners cynthia nixon and sarah jessica parker - and poor donald - losing out to reality winner the amazing race - he must want to beat that host phil up! - best moment of the emmy's was the random people selected to be surprise presenters! what a fun moment!
BIG BROTHER 5 FINALE TUES! oh its all come down to this - two of the four horseman have been left standing at the end - who will the evicted houseguest 'jury' award the final half a miliion dollar prize? it seems pretty split down the middle - michael may win since he has that kid to care for - but look at drew's cute little face - who wouldnt want to give him a half a million - and he has a twin brother - ben! wow! two of em - so tune in tomorrow night as julie chen host the final festivities for my favorite reality show - and one popbytes should be on - big brother!
NIP/TUCK oh its almost here! that special time on tuesday when we all get to see the latest nip/tuck on f/x - and just last night i saw an exciting promo for the season finale on oct 5 where joan rivers guests as herself - 'see joan like you have never see her before...' - and i just came across a fun blog - dedicated to the best show ever! so please have a peek at likeasurgeon.com Trudy Nye Sean and Christian repair the face of a woman abused by her husband; Sean and Julia confront Ava about her relationship with her son Adrian.

its time for the moanday update!

six feet under oh i have to say i fully enjoyed last night's episode - i was glued - it was a better pay-off episode than the whole season combined - from the opening death scene - to the final suicide scene - it tied a very 'just ok' season together - i will be very curious to see how they handle the kind of dangling stories next season - for instance will barb return next season as lisa's now widowed kinda bitchy sister - will claire develop a coke habit? will mom ruth rid of creepy james cromwell - and will keith take the offer to be a bodyguard to that ultra-slimy hollywood guy? how long will it be until season five? who knows - but i hope they can regroup and bring back a kick-ass season? kudos to creator alan ball for directing last nights stirring episode - i haven't given up on the fischers yet!
just a quick note to everyone - that 'jennifer' lopez's real name is actually 'jennifer' - j lo - is just a brand of clothing - and an album - whatever jenny - i would call you bitch to yr face before i ever uttered jennifer…and just for the record one more time - marc anthony is a fucking troll - ugly as homemade sin! and please do notice i didnt even bother to put up a picture of la puta...
popbytes is a bit behind on the movies - so i had to go and join netflixs- that internet video delivery service that so far rocks - we watched monster with academy award winner charlize theron - and i was thoroughly entertained and completely mesmerized by charlize's performance - what a job that gal did - mom you should just see it for the acting alone - and christina ricci was quite good too - and nancy jenkins really put together and interesting & entertaining movie! so if you haven't see it - go ahead and rent or put it on your netflix queue.
ok - just so no one is worried - oprah winfrey is still my favorite person in the whole world - as i tivo-back (kinda like lean-back) on today's - 7 million dollar - product giveaway season 19 premiere - which include 276 ponitac g6 cars - one to each and every audience member - 'you get a car - you get a car - you get a car' - although im semi-disappointed i thought it might be something bigger like marriage or political office - but wow - what a great marketing stunt - and lucky ass pontiac - yes it was 28k a car (x that my 276) but what great press - and public relations - the show had everyone abuzz - i was even annoying people in the elevator about it - what could it be - oh im so happy for all who got a car - and i think me needs to look into getting tickets for next year's 20th anniversary - maybe everyone will get a million dollars!

its time for the moanday update!

mtv lamo awards ok im an asshole - here i am touting all the anticipation of the mtv vma's last night from miami (that was a huge mistake and i think miami can certainly kiss that party goodbye) and really it was one of the most boring - uneventful award shows i had seen in a long time - the whole 'oh britney may get married' was such bullshit - and j lopez wasnt barely with marc - xtina was good - but kinda boring - jessica was sweet but again - kinda boring - did you see those tweeny girls like so into her performance - and they were all waving wildly - what i think must have been gifted cellphones like it was the last night of the world - and then that band in the end all up in like jesus robes - oh it was terrible - britney finally did a smart thing and stayed away from what was a memorably bad night...nuff said. so mtvtake note go back to better days like 2002 - jimmy fallon as host (who hosted last night??) and britney and michael jackson with that small flub - and i think she did the snake that year - oh britney im sorry girl your forgiven - its just not an mtv show without you! be strong!!
	the complex malibu oh boy do we have a fucking reality winner on our hands - i was glued - this was really fun - and wacky - and i am instantly hooked on another fox show - eight couples are competing in a run down apartment complex in the low key ever cool and classic malibu
the couples are a wide range of personalities - from crazy southerners, older wrong island couple, gay guys from phoenix - and my fave the couple from ny dave and ana - he's nyc cutie boy and she's fiery sexy domican - a match made in heaven - so i shall keep you abreast of the schedule of the show - it looks like this will settle in a friday timeslot - so it could be a conflict free hour of reality heaven!
nip/tuck dont forget this only a few more new episodes of season 2 left - and then the big finale on oct 5 with ms. joan rivers guesting as herself (i ran into melissa rivers (along with sexy jeff varner of survivor - australian outback) again in the elevator but it was crowded and i didnt feel like i could ask for the scoop in the moment but im seeking the oppty! - im dying to know what will happen with her!!!) tomorrow's night episode is natasha charles christian falls for a blind patient; sean rejects julia's attempts at reconciliation; julia makes a drastic decision to promote change in her life - oh i cant wait!! lady lora now has her tivo so she can relive every glorious moment in tivo glory! you go girl!

Olympics oh they are in full swing - and sports is so not my thing but I am glued to all the happenings - I already miss 'days of our lives' on Olympic hiatus - but it will all be back to normal soon enough - I wish I was in Athens - its empty and cheap - and in Greece - count me in for the winter games that take place next in italy...

PARIS & NICOLE oh twas a lucky day! To see these girls in person made m e get hot and sweaty and im gay but shit these gals loked hot - and making eye contact with Nicole was worth every second - I swear if I was a girl I would dress exactly like her - love her la style!
	SIX FEET UNDER oh this show is such a bore! Everyone was fucking like rabbits last night - I like the show (and I sure liked the appearance of hot as hell sarge) but i still yearn for dr. troy and nip/tuck!
JOE SCHMO 2 oh it's the two hour finale of what me and west-kevina have labeled as quite simply - the best!
KILL BILL VOL 2 ok this dvd hits stores Tuesday - although I much prefer volume one - I do recommend this great movie - I hope by xmas time that tarntino releases a version of volumes 1 & 2 edited together - I think that would inspire brilliance - uma rocks as does daryl Hannah - so treat yrself to a fun flick!
	HAIRSPRAY both rick and west-kevina have now raved about this latest import from nyc broadway - playing at the pantages theater (in view from popbytes balcony) - so I think me needs to do a tues or wed show and go grab a single ticket - as I was so used to doing back in my nyc days (if yr a bway fan u must go by yrself sometimes as its hard to talk a non-bway fan into seeing a show for 50 dollars (at minimum!))

	COLLATERAL i swear i love and live for tom cruise - i mean whats not to like - besides the fact he was married to ice queen nicole! - here tom plays a bad murdering man who catches a cab with jaime foxx - who is forced to drive him around his murderous LA spree - this looks hot - from director michael mann - this one hits theaters on friday and is bound to knock 'the village' from the top spot...
SIX FEET UNDER DRAGS! i swear this show is just off this season - its kinda boring - and just kept thinking nip/tuck was coming soon - i used to love this show - but its becoming so droll! i dont even really have anything else to say - except i will watch the rest of the season - but be sure to tune into nip/tuck on tues...
HSX oh this is a fun throwback to the 90's - i had forgotten about the hollywood stock exchange - a fun free place to buy and trade movie and star stocks - so i rejoined - of course im user 'popbytes' - you start with 2 million dollars - and the fun is just getting started - be sure to log-on & sign up and join in the free fun of the hollywood stock exchange
	BOWLING oh my gosh popbytes loves to bowl - it was the big work bowl off - and our team (popbytes) did amazing! we all bowled over or close to 100! i did 55 on friday and i bowled a 122 tonight - i was happy since sports was never really my thing - i do like baseball tho - but oh i wish you all could have witnessed lady lora bowling (in bare feet) i swear this gal is the funniest, most outlandish chick i know - and such a throwback to those NYC days! she is ultra-cool - and no rules apply sorry fellas this gal makes her own - i will update you all as to the standing of the popbytes team - so mk (me), brent, rick, drew, bryan, and james - we will rock on & bowl on - and good ole max who just got hitched - this bowl is for you! MOANDAY UPDATE! {4}

congrats to michael moore - his film exceeded 100 million - the first for a documentary - and from the start of tonights craziness in boston (my brother david is in like lockdown mode!) - bush should start packing - its so over its not funny! and now its time for the moanday update!

AMISH IN THE CITY Oh - we love this - ok sometimes im leary of UPN - I have never done top model and I don't think I will - but I find out on wed at 8 - they are doing this new show - where they get some amish kids and bring 'em to los angeles - and they get a big dose of crazy city life - mixed in with city kids - they will all live in a house - so think 'real world' - with some amish thrown in for high drama - keep yr eyes on city boy reese - he's a cutie!
	ASHLEE SIMPSON Oh you know I hated Jessica - then I loved her - and know I love her kid sister ashlee - her debut album autobiography hit stores Tuesday and its fairly decent - I really like her single 'pieces of me' - think avril lavigne lite - and shes due on my boyfriend ryan seacrest's studio tomorrow - and I almost got a chance to see it with a lucky hookup from cool ass Karen! - but we both have to work (yes popbytes works) and it would extend a bit more than the traditional one hour lunch - courtyard viewings are best - but anyways give a listen to ashlee - quite the opposite of jess - shes just as cute in her own quirky way
PARIS & NICK Paris and loverboy nick carter (dudes are those backstreet boys ever coming back - does anyone care - I so doubt it - give it a rest fellas - yr like pushing 30 I think?) - im glad that paris broke up with nick - she can do much better - and if she needs to hang out and have fun - popbytes is so game to hang out and have fun - if I was a girl - and had her body (and her money) I would dress exactly like her - she is so hot! I love her - I love the show - I love sis nikki and best friend Nicole - rock on!
BRITNEY CRAZINESS! Oh this was too juicey not to share - I just had to! 	CATWOMAN SCANDAL! Ok so im so down about 'catwoman' getting so fucking slammed - but then i looked to a new blog that had linked to popbytes and i have since linked to him - great site - and here he provides another side of the 'catwoman' scandal - so please take a moment and visit - pink is the new blog (he has his finger firmly on the pulse - i love it! - dont believe the hype - catwoman rocks - but i can rest easy since its been revealed to throw off attention from bad reviews that halle berry now owns a cat and has new respect for cats - i was so worried!

so the folks saw the moore film - 9/11 - and i think they enjoyed it - of course me and my mom are on the same page that all politicians are crooks - i think my dad found it a bit slanted - but i will say this - truth or not - it raises questions - and i think dissent and debate are a good thing - surprised to find out how crowded the theater was - and its amazing a doc can pull in now - 94 million - i swear if bush wins - i think we are all in a coma - its time for a change!! and now its time for the moanday update!

DEBBIE (aka DEBORAH) GIBSON Debbie made an appearance at the awards ceremony for outfest last night - the fellow long island native looked great - and sounded great as she was asked by some board members to sing - so she broke out an acapella quick version of 'only in my dreams' - oh what fun - also in attendance was Martha plimpton (!), Judith light (as always god bless her), Lauren ambrose (Claire on six feet) & chad allen and my imaginary boyfriend - Robert gant - a fun night was had by all - with a screening of a hilarious film - straight jacket
	JENNY @ FRED SEGALS! Lady lora had some great spottings over the weekend - which include our favorite one to hate - Jennifer lopez - shopping at fred segals - lora reported she had her whole entourage with her - and looked great - with a small belly showing - and then she saw bruce willis dash into a souped up bmw outside the modest mouse concert at the palace (aka Avalon, sypder room) this is a call out to anyone else I know who sees celebs - let popbytes know - west kevina spotted Wilmer Valderrama at the Beverly center - so keep em coming folks!
DAVID ON SIX FEET! Gosh - six feet was stressful last night - and for those of you who saw it - know exactly what I mean - poor david - I know he shouldn't have picked up that hitchhiker - but that just sucks and was freaking me out when it all turned sour - and it was the first time that six feet played an entire scene for what felt like a good 30-40 minutes - jeez the guy forced him to smoke cracked at gunpoint - and then gave him a blowjob! Wild! Wild! - so the lesson here - don't pick up hitchers!!!
TRADING SPOUSES - MEET YR NEW MOMMY! Oh the new show trading spouses: meet your new mommy starts tomorrow on fox - this new show has abc panties all in a wad since they will be doing a similar show in the fall - the wife swap - I say the more wife and mommy swapping the better - shit we can all write a compare and contrast essay when all is said and done - and if you haven't seen the promos for this one on fox - it looks like a real hoot!
	CATWOMAN OPENS JULY 23! Oh catwoman opens on Friday - and I feel like im the only excited one I know! Ok I still die for michelle Pfeiffer as cat lady in the awesome batman returns - but I just love batman - and the all the associative characters - so im just pumped for catwoman - I swear that eric benet is a fool - whatever ass you tapped to piss halle off and leave yr sorry ass - I hope it was good ass - since you aint be tapping catwoman anytime soon - this movie is premiering in la tonight - will be curious to hear the reviews - I have heard mostly mixed things - but for sure on the negative side

GOD BLESS WEEZIE Oh it's a sad day for tv history - our beloved 'weezie' Jefferson passed away at the ripe age of 86 on Friday - god bless her and Norman lear (creator to my fave show of all time all in the family) for creating one of the most memorable shows and characters for tv - I recently saw her getting her star on the walk of fame (on my birthday actually jan 16) - so I hope she knew how she was loved and adored - and was only nominated 8 - yes 9 times for her role on one of the best shows ever - she'll be movin on up - thanks Isabel - you will be missed and remembered! please check out my posting when she got her star on the blvd...isabel got her star (on my birthday!)

Oh jonathan - you and yr big head (whats down below?) we have loved you watching you open yr bev hills salon (I hope you did nail down that valet service - dude where are you gonna park? Especially when yr paying like $400 a cut) - and Kimberley come on girl - lighten up! Yr sullen moments are annoying - expect a post from ms. Skimmers as the season finale airs tomorrow! I wonder if bravo will bring back this ultra sexy bad boy of hair for another season - he must be at least bisexual - im sorry but no one like him should call themselves straight - sorry ladies!
SIX FT UNDER A DROP BETTER Six feet is still in a slump - but I think I enjoyed last nights episode the best thus far - I think it was largely due to the return Joanna cassisdy (dude shes in dont tell mom the babysitters dead and thats a bad titled movie that fucking rocks) as the outlandish Margaret Chenowith - brenda's (the insatiable rachel griffiths) mom - shes a hoot that lady - and Justin theroux (as brenda's new flame) is just fine as hot steaming piece o' apple pie...

	OUTFEST 2004 Oh its outfest time in LA - and I saw a bunch of stuff over the weekend - and some more stuff coming up this week - in case you didn't know - outfest is the longest running festival in la - now in its 22nd yr - these folks bring the best of gay, lesbian, & transgender themed movies to the screen - including documentaries, shorts, experimental work & Hollywood releases - so if yr in town - do check out outfest!

greetings folks! welcome to my new weekly feature - moanday update! - notice the moan - it's not a spelling error - it's agony! so read on with some tidbits (aka popbytes) to keep you busy for at least a few hrs! i swear it all goes so quickly!

Nip/Tuck - SEASON #2 TUES @ 10pm - F/X i have been hearing only rave reviews of this show with the ultra hot julian mcmahon - is the seedy tale of la plastic surgeons - word is there will be a siamese seperation - but hey last time i checked - i think that's above and beyond 'dr. feelgood' - so i will tune in for the madness - i really cant take on another 'show' - i have to keep refusing the north shore - im just skipping that one (for now anyways...)
	ALIAS - JAN 05 FOR NEW EPISODES? oh lordy - the shit has hit the fucking abc fan - word is that my beloved alias - will not be returning in sept - but rather in january - what could this mean? i foresee bad things - and jenny garner is all into movies now - we must band together - and save this show! not enough of you have watched this gripping - action packed - twists & turns galore - it's like a movie every week - so i will keep you all in the loop - and when we need to take some sort of protest / petition - it will all start here - long live sydney bristow!!
SIX FT UNDER IS OFF...DIG DEEPER well i guess not as much a 'depress fest' as last week - but still it's all feeling forced or something - i usually love nate - but i could have told him to shut the fuck up a few times - and brenda - is like chewing scenery - at least she gets to chew on that hottie - claire is getting droll - and the whole ruth marriage is stupid - he needs to go - and alan ball needs to check in - im sorry but im just not feeling it yet - i will say they had one of the best opening sequences - so bravo to that - but come on - yr boring us!

hey all - it was a shitty day here - but the sun did manage to breakthru later on - but i think us folk out here in la - need the sun like batteries - when its overcast - i feel personally lost and weirded out - so here are some fun tidbits of interest - yes maybe a small posting but im beat -

the practice ended without a bang - it was a mellow series finale - but i was thrilled to see the promos for fleet street - the new abc drama coming with james spader - still playing alan shore the oddly creepy but super sexy character that joined the practice for its last season - so it didnt feel quite as final as i thought it would - i just hope that rebecca demornay joins the cast - she has played a wickedly fun character - hannah rose - i just hope david e. kelley convinced her to join fleet street!

the swan ends next week with the most outrageous beauty pagent 'ever devised' - who will emerge from ugliness to the ultimate cut up beverly hills queen - tune in next week on fox...

the simple life 2 - road trip starring our faves paris and nicole - i cant wait for this goody from fox in june - its not so far away - these gals rock - i would be their best friend in an instant!

american idol tomorrow - and im gonna vote like a bitch in heat for fantasia - and i recommend every other loser do the same!

MONDAY MONDAY :(

the weekend just FLIES by - it all goes too fast! caught up with 2 weeks worth of ALIAS and THE PRACTICE - both shows are in top form - especially ALIAS - and on THE PRACTICE we got a visit from lucy - filling in for tara - who got fired - because she told alan shore (james spader) he was fired - and now it looks like he is going after the firm - eugene needs to take a fucking chill pill - and i do love that jaime character (played by the daughter of kate capshaw - her name escapes me right now)...so anyways i got all caught up in my viewings!

lots of fallout from the ben appearance - smart smart move - and i forgot to mention - the opening skit involved a gay boston wedding (with boston characters by jimmy fallon and rachel dratch) where ben kissed seth meyers! and now ben has that new movie coming out - JERSEY GIRL - props to ben again for a truly enjoyable SNL.

tonight i got suckered into a new episode of FEAR FACTOR - you like never think to plan or intend to watch - you just end up watching somehow - its kinda eerie...so on on TV was that and on the other we are tivo'ing CRACKING UP - and FOREVER EDEN (oh my oh my who wil be eve to AZ's adam??) - and then for some really ODD reason im taping AVERAGE JOE: ADAM RETURNS - why - because there is like not that much else - i do give all reality shows a chance - but this looks like stretched out crap - and now get this...

NBC is combining with mark burnett - and SYLVESTER STALLONE for a new reality escapade THE CONTENDER - to see who can be like a better boxer for like a million dollars - ok I NEVER got the appeal of boxing - not one bit - except the cute shorts - but heck is it fun to see two people beat on each other - i think not - sorry if i offend any diehard boxing fans...i hope there is some angle or aspect that becomes compelling - because right now i dont see it at all - and OF COURSE i will have to give it a chance - but BOXING??? oh lordy! maybe this boy will turn out to be a boxing whore - and be ordering PPV specials left and right...

and finally a hot tidbit from a popbytes associate (this guy so gets me - i love it!) that britney spears was spotted down at hip and trendy (yes i have been there) store on melrose - shopping for an outfit for an upcoming video - and was hunting down my friend's friend to help ms. spears - and all this on rumors of britney nixing a 'suicide' shot from her new video for EVERYTIME - apparently the shot was of britney in a bath tub with a bottle of empty pills nearby - and if you dont know the song - this is her ballad of unreqiuted (sp?) apologies to justin (JUST listen to words folks) so check her out on IN THE ZONE - still selling in stores! and after this whole tidbit spilled out and shocked me - my friend and i both discovered our love for that new FOX show i just mentioned...WONDERFALLS - see logo below and click for the website!
