good evening! finally my darling gwen stefanigave birth to her second child (didn't that seem like the longest pregnancy ever?) gwen had a baby boy weighing in at 8.5lbs named zuma nesta rock rossdale here in los angeles at 12:46pm via a scheduled c-section! although i adore ms. stefani and her sexy hubby gavin rossdale - i must say that's hands down one of the worst celebrity baby names ever (it makes gwyneth paltrow's daughter seem apple martin completely normal) i suggest just calling him 'rocky' as a nickname - maybe 'zuma' is a reference to zuma beach up in malibu (perhaps where the little guy was conceived? i have zero clue what 'nesta' could mean - that's the worst part of the name) i'm thrilled for all parties involved but i was crossing my fingers she'd have a little girl the second time around (her first born kingston james mcgregor rossdale turned 2 in may) i'm quite sure she'll be having more children (she needs a to have a girl) but i seriously pray girlfriend can take a small break from baby making to get back in the studio with her band no doubt - i've been dying to hear new material (along with my pal bree) from them for what seems like ages now! popbytes over & out for now...xxoo

(it's embedded below in case you missed it) i knew she had her fingers in a lot of things but not paper & printers! (she must have gotten quite a nice paycheck from appearing on behalf of the company...) i must say though i loved the ad and i had no clue what it was for until the end! there's even a whole mini-site over at hp.com/gwen where you can do a variety of things (all involve printing...of course) including making your own custom gwen inspired paper dolls or you can pick from a few of ms. stefani's designs to make cards or even CD labels - it's all pretty nifty and once again anything gwen does is usually kinda cool - printing never seemed very glamorous until now! hey hey! this is great news - finallyno doubt is working on their new album (expected release is sometime next year) and the good folks over at celebrity babylon caught gwen stefani, tony kanal, adrian young (such a cutie), and tom dumont at a 'secret' recording studio right here in los angeles - i've loved ms. stefani's two solo albums but it's going to be awesome to see her back with the band! i can't wait to hear some of their new material - we all know it's going to be killer! just last night at gwen's concert in irvine, CA the boys joined her at the end for three songs - just a girl, it's my life, & spiderweb - i'm glad the band has been able to stay together while gwen went off and did her thing! today i'm relaxing and running a few errands - it's pretty hot here and oddly on the humid side! i hope everyone is having a great weekend so far - i'll check you all later! popbytes over & out for now...xxoo!

direct from mr. zachhere's a few details from the show...ms. stefani said she actually met hubby gavin rossdale there - at universal/gibson ampitheater - saying the venue felt much smaller than she remembered - gwen also mentioned shirley manson was 'so fuckin hot' plus she had met her there as well. gwen said it was her 4th or 5th show with about eighty left adding she's so excited to be on tour again! she also dedicated 'the real thing' to baby kingston!

well hello hello hello! the long weekend is almost over which is a total bummer but with xmas & new years around the corner - it should be fairly smooth sailing from here on out! i didn't do much today...i watched superman II on DVD which is getting re-released as a special cut by original director richard donner! (there is a ton of info about the release over on wikipedia) it was great and the restoration looked incredible but overall it made me miss our dear christopher reeve and poor margot kidder who has had many woes since those days of playing 'lois lane' but i did love seeing marlon brando (gosh he was SO damn hot when he was young - meow!) as superman's father 'jor-el' who gets more screen time in newly added sequences!
then i headed to the beverly center to do a little shopping which didn't go down as planned...i'm either in the mood to shop or i just want to leave and today i elected for the latter! although the puppies were so super adorable (especially this one maltese) at the pet shop which is always a must stop when you hit the mall here! (but i don't endorse getting pets there at all - please head to your local shelter!)
i was thinking what to post on tonight and then i realized i wanted to mention how much i like (noticed i said like instead of love) the new gwen stefani album called the sweet escape which lands in stores a week from tuesday (dec 5th) it's not nearly as good as her first solo album love.angel.music.baby but for a sophomore effort it's quite decent! i will say if you are not a fan of ms. stefani - this album won't be the one to turn you on (it would probably annoy you more than anything) but if you are gwen-ite (like myself) i think you will find her 'sweet escape' a good time!
finally i'm thrilled that gwen is wanting to head back to the studio to record a new album with no doubt! it needs to be fucking hot and i think (hope) the gang can swing it! i would love to share a song from gwen's latest solo effort but i know trouble would ensue and it comes out next week anyways but once i find a streaming link i'll post it here - long live ms. stefani! popbytes over & out for tonight - xxoo!
