oh my gosh! this is pure insanity and financial waste at its very worst...britney spears blew through a shit load of money over the past few months - in touch weeklyclaims the one-time pop princess spent $61 million dollars in less than one year (due to her messy behavior which included legal bills & 'health' expenses) holy fucking cow - oh my gosh - i felt bad about purchasing both my xbox 360 & ps3 at the same time - the price of those combined is a mere drop in britney's bucket! she has been literally bleeding cash (i'd love a fraction of her fortune to pay off my student loans) and hasn't brought much in - reportedly ms. spears lost out on $50 million because she didn't tour with her latest album blackout (hands down her best album - i'm still listening to it on a fairly regular basis) below is britney leaving a vocal lesson which i'm sure must have cost a pretty penny...at least she got to leave with her very own burned CD (which probably cost extra...) people see her coming and the dollar $ign$ $tart adding up in their head$! popbytes over & out for tonight - thank heavens tomorrow is friday - xxoo

ms. britney spears was caught being good again (when i was in elementary school they had this dumb award given out to kids 'caught being good' - it never quite lived up to the hype the teachers gave it) instead of making drama (or denting fenders) brit was back (along w/ a big ass bronze bag) at a recording studio tonight (specifically glenwood place studios over in burbank) she's probably just messing around and getting used to being back in 'the zone'...she's also been at the gym recently and supposedly bally total fitness wants to hire her as their spokesperson although i think it might be a little soon for that - it wasn't all that long ago that she was a total mess and she still doesn't seem 100% (her hair/weave needs major help) but ms. spears has certainly come a long way! (yet nobody should be depending on her at the moment except for money)
i'm sure everyone will agree that a big part of her recovery can be credited to her dad jamie spears who really took control of his daughter's crazy ass situation! if i were advising her i'd suggest doing an all out promotional tour for her album blackout (which you all know i totally love and there's a few more tracks begging to be singles) she barely did anything (no letterman, leno, or anyone else for that matter) when the album was released since she was so damn out of it - i think it'd be brit's best focal point - not doing TV guest appearances, endorsing gyms, being a dance teacher, or designing t-shirts...it's time to bring back the pop star we all (secretly) loved at one time or another! i knew some kind of trouble was waiting around the corner for britney spears - with her track record something slightly messy was simply bound to happen eventually! apparently ms. spears wanted to go on a small joyride earlier this evening and accidentally bumped the car in front of her (while on the 101 in her white mercedes) that car in turn hit the next car in line - everyone is ok (traffic was heavy and moving at a reported speed of just 20mph) all three cars were questioned by police at a nearby gas station (also a perfect place for britney to hit the bathroom!) but no one got a ticket (rumors say britney was given a breathalyzer test!) it all sounds pretty minor to me but britney seemed a bit freaked out (and was clutching a pack of marlboro reds - she should at least try to downgrade to ultra lights and then quit altogether like i need to do) of course she let her bodyguard take over the wheel for the rest of her mini outing! britney totally needs to freshen up on her driving skills before heading out again - thankfully tonight no one was injured! popbytes over & out for tonight...xxoo!
hey kids! maybe i'm just tired after a very long week (today was simply dreadful at work - i had to get through an annoying task but everything went fine - i need to sharpen up on my flash skills!) but there's some new pictures of britney spears hitting up west hollywood/beverly hills B2V hair salon and she could almost be mistaken for lindsay lohan - both ladies are rocking long straight blonde hair - and their sunglasses look pretty similar too! ms. lohan was seen out today hanging with her BFF samantha ronson down on melrose avenue by the DCMA collective store (owned by the madden brothers who are dating paris hilton & nicole richie - the circles sure do run small in hollywood) i'd be great to see ms. spears hanging w/ ms. lohan again - poor britney probably doesn't have many friends at this point - but i doubt we'll see her with lindsay anytime soon - although they could totally surprise us! (there's plenty more picture below of the two from today) right now i'm just chilling out grooving to a leaked copy of the new mariah carey album E=MC2 (releasing this coming tuesday april 15th) which i think is quite decent - it's typical mariah but that's totally fine by me - i love my mimi! hey hey! i just got in from running a couple of errands all over town - and what was i blasting in the car? oh yes i'm still listening to britney spears' latest album blackout which was released back in october - and right now it's march and i'm still needing my daily fix of ms. spears! i love almost every track - it's upbeat and catchy - the whole vibe is consistent - however i don't know how much we can actually credit ms. spears for the album since we all know she was a total mess while making it yet she managed to get herself some kick-ass producers & writers who truly delivered one tight pop dance album! this past week britney debuted her animated video for her newly released third single break the ice - which just happens to be one of my favorite tracks! the video is just ok (i would've preferred to see ms. spears in the flesh dancing around...maybe next time if she's up for it) but the song totally rules! the video is posted below courtesy of the good folks from myspace celebrity!
tonight i'm going to try and watch '08 best picture winner no country for old men which i picked up on blu-ray earlier this week - shame on me for having seen it earlier! popbytes over & out...xxoo! good morning and happy monday (if there is such a thing) i haven't posted much on britney spears lately but i have been enjoying her album blackout a whole lot - it was selected as one of my top favorite albums from '07 and two months into this year the disc still remains in heavy rotation (especially when i'm driving) oh my gosh - i love it...pure pop music tastiness at its very best! finally things are starting to turn around for the seriously troubled pop princess - she just got back visitation rights with her two young boys sean preston & jayden james...who she hadn't seen in almost two months! this past weekend was the big reunion at britney's house - hopefully she'll continue on the road to recovery and being a good parent! i'd also love to see her tour at some point with her latest album - although i doubt that will happen...yet we can dream big right?!?

good evening! i haven't done a full post on our favorite loony britney spears recently - so when i read this insane story on UK's news of the world - i knew it was time once again to talk about ms. spears! apparently her paparazzi dude creepy quasi-boyfriend adnan ghalib has been taping britney over the past few weeks 'crying and babbling' about her recent mental breakdown - and now he's looking to sell the insanity filled video clips - six in total - how freakin' shady is that?!? there's details on three of the clips below - based on the few quotes that are supposedly spoken by britney - sadly i have a sinking feeling these tapes actually do exist...
i'd be way too harsh if i said - she gets what she deserves - since she's obviously out of her head and not completely all there (screws are loose all over the place) it's such a shame that this asshole is continuing to take advantage of her super weak mental state - and trying to profit from it! he's rumored to be seeking up to one million british pounds from the sale of the tapes (roughly $2 million US dollars) i swear when it comes to money - people will do anything including tossing people under the bus and selling 'em out!

tonight at the westwood green carpet premiere of mad money i spotted power lawyer gloria allred walking down in a cute red jacket - i immediately told her she was fierce (which is the truth) and asked ms. allred if i could perhaps ask her a question about britney spears...don't forget she still represents britney's ex-bodyguard tony barretto who spilled the beans on some of ms. spears' wacky behavior and will be deposed in the upcoming custody battle (which no doubt will be dramatic!) below is video i shot of what gloria had to say - not only did she answer my question - she also had a lot to say! good evening! of course i couldn't skip posting about the latest drama swirling around a mentally broken down britney spears...yesterday she was released from the hospital (which wasn't probably the best idea) and supposedly she was blindsided by the intrusive & unexpected visit from dr. phil who was called in by her parents jamie & lynne! oh my word - what a total dumbass thing to do! there simply must be better people to call - people who don't need to run to the press and make statements about stuff that's already quite obvious! i've never been a big fan of his - he needs to buzz off - dr. phil could have easily declined her parents' request...he's the last thing britney needs!
apparently brit's parents will be appearing on his show (another huge mistake) although we definitely won't be seeing ms. spears there (i wonder if they'll talk about the other messy family situation with jamie lynn's teen pregnancy?) if i were britney i'd be super mad & pissed at my folks for calling in TV's biggest quack doctor to help out - it probably only added more fuel to britney's fire! (does girlfriend really need a television intervention?!?) i think it's about time for brit to get out of town - whether it turns out to be a stint in rehab or an extended stay in a padded room - remains to be seen!
yet she already did manage to get out of town today and headed out to palm desert with her shady paparazzi pal adnan ghalib (who also happens to be married...) the two were spotted out having a bite to eat - and get this - ms. spears was laughing and drinking mimosas!
