good evening! everyone seems to be talking about amy winehouse's new big boobs - which she was flaunting last night while out & about in london but i'm wondering what's up with those dumb faux freckles she's been adding to her nose? i highly doubt they're real and it's ridiculous looking effect! it's almost like she went to a bunch of ash wednesday ceremonies and all the priests missed her forehead ... i guess everything naturally gravitates towards ms. winehouse's nose! all joking aside - she's looking way better than she was a few months ago but i still don't think she's functioning at 100% yet she seems to be on the right track - let's just hope it stays that way! i'm dying to listen to some new material from her - i guess that won't be until next year :( popbytes over & out for now ... xoxo

hey everyone! this weekend 13-year-old dionne bromfield made her television debut over in the UK on the show strictly come dancing (their version of dancing with the stars now in its 7th season) i posted about ms. bromfield a few weeks ago - she just happens to be amy winehouse's goddaughter - and the first artist signed to her new label venture lioness records - she was totally amazing and even had a seemingly sober ms. winehouse (now rocking blonde streaks!) provide backup vocals! i still can't believe how young dionne is ... i feel like this girl could potentially be huge - i love her voice! tomorrow her debut album introducing dionne bromfield is being released overseas - i so need to get my paws on a copy - i can't wait to hear it! anways i'm about to head out the door to catch cutie T.R. knight in parade downtown at the mark taper forum with my pal joey - i'm beyond excited - it's one of my favorite musicals of all-time! popbytes over & out for tonight ... xoxo
hey everyone! for awhile i was totally obsessed with amy winehouse - even my mom told me to calm down with all my posts about her - over the past few months i've kind of put her out of my mind (right now there seems to be only room for whitney houston) but the other night i had the most realistic dream about ms. winehouse - i met her at some deli (i think in NYC) of course i immediately gushed and glowed about her music and kept asking her when she'll put out some new material (i got no definitive answer) plus i bought her a bunch of little snacks ... at least i wasn't buying her drugs!
next month will mark three years since the release of back to black - the award-winning album i completely fell in love and listened to for months on end! we all know she's made such a mess of herself (whitney never went where she did ...) but i'm still holding out hope she'll pull it together - these are shots of amy (dare i say clean and semi-sober?) out and about in london accompanied by a really cute guy - she even played a couple of songs at her friend's jazz club! i'm praying for at the very least a new song in the early part of 2010 and it better be decent - she's been in so many dramatic and fucked up situations - she has more than enough material to draw from and write about! girlfriend also needs to make sure to stay away from her junkie ex-hubby blake fielder-civil - he's not good for her - ms. winehouse need to move onwards and upwards! popbytes over & out for now ... xoxo

good morning y'all - happy friday! so amy winehouse was finally able to tear herself away from the island of st. lucia - she's back in jolly ol' london - and her first order of business (besides securing her divorce from blake) was to appear in court to face assault charges (with daddy mitch by her side) and just this morning she was found not guilty! (i wonder how the fan who got punched feels about that?) thankfully ms. winehouse is looking much better than she has in the past few months ... i really hope she can follow in the steps of whitney houston by staying clean and off drugs (aka being sober) and just maybe she'll actually start to work on music again ... it has seriously been ages since we've heard any new tunes from her! popbytes over & out for now ... xoxo

UK model maker craig stevens used 12,500 lego pieces to create a life-size figure of ms. winehouse! hey everyone! i wonder if amy winehouse is ever going to leave st. lucia? it's been a little less than a month since my last post on ms. winehouse - when she tried to perform but the whole thing turned into a disaster! she's still down in paradise - doing god only knows what! amy was spotted on the beach again - this time hanging out with an unidentified young girl - i wonder if her parents know who she's paling around with? i don't think amy's necessarily a bad person at all - but she's certainly no role model for young impressionable minds! good evening! i hate to say this but i'm seriously about to toss in the towel and give up on hoping & praying amy winehouse will finally get her shit together - it's been ages since we've heard any new music from her - there's still no end in sight when it comes to her messy drinking / drugging antics! she's been down in st. lucia supposedly to work on the follow-up album to back to black which garnered tons of awards & accolades along with plenty of admiration from yours truly - it's still an incredible piece of work (easily one of my top favorite albums of all-time) but sadly i think it's probably her magnum opus - everything has been pointing in a downhill direction for quite a long time now - just a few days ago ms. winehouse showed up for a gig at the st. lucia jazz festival late after drinking for a rumored six hours and could barely remember the lyrics to her songs and was eventually booed off the stage! (here's a video of her disastrous performance) it's all such a shame - i can't believe she's just tossing her career out the window but girlfriend is still obviously an addict - until she addresses / deals with those issues (for real this time) i highly doubt anything is going to change - it's sad but oh so true! of course though in the end - there's no way i can give up hope when it comes to amy - however she's definitely testing my patience! popbytes over & out for tonight ... xoxo

good evening! i hope everyone is having a lovely weekend so far - this morning i had to go to the eye doctor because last week i was cleaning my glasses and one of the arms snapped off - i was so angry - and of course they can't be fixed - so i got to pick up a new pair of glasses (i went with a pair of clear oliver peoples) i can't wait until they come in next week - i do wear contacts as well but sometimes your eyes need a break from 'em! anyways my favorite mess amy winehouse is back down in st. lucia (without her infamous beehive) apparently she's looking into buying a place there to chill & work on the way overdue follow-up to her grammy-nominated album back to black (i just tossed it back on my ipod ... it's still just as great as the first time i heard it) supposedly she's going to preview some new songs as early as next month! (amy is working with producer salaam remi who helped craft her debut album frank) while she's down there i'm hoping she can remain clean and sober (being removed from the london scene is probably key to her sobriety) and maybe she'll pack on a few pounds - she can definitely use 'em! girlfriend was just spotted on the beach (looking far less glamorous than she did for her court appointment a few weeks ago - her yellow tube top is barely covering her nipples ... yikes!) plus amy took time out for a little horseback riding - which i haven't done in years - i seriously need to investigate where in los angeles i can do that - i adore horses! popbytes over & out for tonight ... xoxo
finally we have troubled singer amy winehouse looking quite fabulous & fresh over in london today but unfortunately it wasn't for a gig or an awards show ... girlfriend had a date in court this morning (of course she arrived late) where she pleaded not guilty to assault charges (stemming from an incident last september) but by the looks of the pictures below - it looks like she's ready to make her debut at a debutante ball - certainly not deal with legal drama (the judge released her on uncondtional bail - she'll be back in court on july 23rd) at least amy seems to be in good (hopefully not high) spirits (daddy mitch winehouse was by her side) and actually looks like she took a shower! i was almost tempted to buy tickets to go to coachella only to see ms. winehouse perform - now i'm super glad i didn't because she's having drama with her visa and won't be admitted into the states to play at the festival! i'm really praying amy can put her addictions in the past and untangle herself from all her legal drama (including divorcing estranged hubby blake fielder-civil) and finally get back to making music (the reason i fell in love with her in the first place) it has been ages now since we've heard new music from her (smoking crack all the time isn't exactly conducive for being productive ... just ask whitney houston) popbytes over & out for now ... xoxo

good evening! i've had a lovely weekend so far (sadly it's over very soon) i love spending time with my parents (they head back to the east coast early wednesday morning) earlier this afternoon i took my mom to see slumdog millionaire which she wasn't so keen on seeing but actually ended up enjoying it - and i totally loved it - i can't believe i didn't see it sooner!
anyways right now the city of london should be on high alert because my darling (ultra messy) amy winehouse is back in town! she's been over in st. lucia taking a break since december - yet once she heard her estranged hubby blake fielder-civil was finally sprung from the slammer - she decided to head back! hey hey! in the seemingly never ending saga of my dear amy winehouse (her life is totally material for lifetime's next movie of the week) her soon to be ex-hubby blake fielder-civil is now claiming responsibility for turning ms. winehouse into a drugged out zombie - he blames himself for introducing her to the good times of heroin, crack cocaine, and self-mutilation (every parents dream of what a future son in-law might bring their daughter) apparently amy had been smoking pot (which is quite nice if i do say so myself) but once she got all hot & heavy with blake - she wanted to try a little bit of what he was having...we all know a little turned into a lot! you can read all of what blake has to say over on news of the world - now the only questions that remain are - will the cracked out couple actually divorce? and how much money will blake want from amy?!? good morning! i haven't done a full post on amy winehouse since september 26th - which actually might be a record for me - that's almost two months ago - yet sadly little has changed for ms. winehouse since then - she's still looking like a total druggie train wreck! (her hubby blake fielder-civilis out of jail and now in rehab - but they haven't reunited yet) girlfriend decided to step outside today after tossing her huge dirty ass hive back up on her head and proceeded to walk around right by her camden apartment in a pink jacket (along with holes in her pants and no shoelaces in her sneakers) she looks like she's heading to high school or something but we all know that's not the case! i'm seriously starting to forget why i fell in love with her in the first place (back to black) since she's certainly nowhere near the point of making new music - it's all just a shame to see her enormous talent wasted - she's been such a mess for quite a long time - it's like amy is past the point of no return - i'd love to see ms. winehouse get her shit together but hope is quickly fading...just look at her in the pictures below! popbytes over & out for now...xoxo
good morning & happy friday! oh that amy winehouse - there's been very little improvement since i last posted about her (she doesn't look as dirty thank heavens) she was spotted out last night at the end of the summer ball over in london's berkeley square (a charity event raising money for the prince's trust) girlfriend even took to the stage and performed looking like a skeleton - i can't believe they would let her perform looking like a pile of skin & bones - i have zero clue when she'll be back to normal (if ever) to be honest i can't believe she's actually still alive...that's a totally terrible thing to say but it's the truth - just look at her - amy's frail body and state of mind can only take so much abuse! sadly her third album isn't coming together at all (how could it?!?) it's all such a shame - she's so talented but it appears that talent is quickly slipping away - it just makes me sad - ugh! once again i hope and pray for a little divine intervention for ms. winehouse before it's too late - popbytes over & out for now...xoxo
good evening! my darling amy winehouse finally made an appearance last night over at monarch bar - she was booked to DJ but unfortunately she looked even more horrible and dirty than ever before - she looks like a character straight out of 'night of the living dead' (but this is so not a movie...) there hasn't been one small glimmer of hope in months when it comes to her extremely serious & messy drug addiction - this is a woman who picked up five grammy awards earlier this year - now she looks worse than most of the homeless people living in my neighborhood! i'm still hanging onto a small drop of hope that she can somehow manage to turn her life around (on sunday she'll celebrate her 25th birthday - probably doing sadly what she does best these days - drugs) ms. winehouse is so damn talented - it's such a shame to see her potential being squandered like it is - it kills me and like i've said before - the thought of doing a post about her untimely death really freaks me out - i pray that day doesn't come anytime soon! popbytes over & out for tonight...xoxo

normally i wouldn't do two amy winehouse posts in a row but i couldn't help myself - yesterday she looked like a dirty ass zombie performing at the V2008 festival (of course the crowd booed at her) twenty-four hours later she hit the stage once again for the second day of the music festival and actually managed to look halfway decent (i think she must have taken a shower and put on extra makeup) thank heavens ms. winehouse cleaned up her act (and beehive) this time around (yesterday was an embarrassment) you can't even tell she's got a major drug problem - her battle with serious addiction is far from over (she was sipping on red wine while up on stage...) but when i see pictures of her looking like her old self again it gives me a small drop of hope! popbytes over & out for now...xxoo

later the same evening...amy winehouse ran riot through camden with her god daughter dionne bromfield, and four burly security guards. one of them was hitting photographers, knocking several to the ground. amy was in a bad mood, having been told at a petrol garage they had no playing cards to sell her, and threw a pint glass at a photographer, slapped a passerby in the face and shouted and swore at people in the street (oh good times)
oh my goodness - i seriously do not like being stressed out on a monday evening but unfortunately ever since i heard about my dear amy winehouse being rushed to the emergency room via an ambulance earlier this evening over in london - i've been a total basket case! after her latest messy weekend rampage - it doesn't surprise me at all that girlfriend ended up sadly having to be taken out on a stretcher to the hospital! at this point i'm totally beside myself...there's simply nothing i can do but light a candle - which i did just a few minutes ago!
i know some people think she's a foolish druggie wreck but she's a serious addict and being in that state of mind - nobody can help themselves - it's not just a matter of deciding to feel better and stop using drugs - the situation is much more serious & dire than that - i really do fear amy won't be able to battle her demons (please don't die amy - i can't bear that) although i am so freakin' far from labeling myself as a religious person - right now all i can do is simply pray! popbytes over & out for tonight...xxoo
