A couple months back, we posted the video for St. Vincent‘s Cruel, which was totally amazing. Well, just to show you that she still has some fire under the hood, here’s her brand new music video for Cheerleader, which is amazing and filled with all kinds of spookiness.
Here’s the highly-anticipated new music video from Adam Lambert for Better Than I Know Myself, the first single off his upcoming sophomore effort Trespassing (out on March 20th). I’ve been a huge supporter of Adam’s since he appeared on the eighth season of American Idol (landing the runner-up spot), and it’s fantastic to see him still on the music scene looking sexier than ever after dropping a couple of pounds. I totally love this song and I’ve got high hopes for Adam’s new material, plus he’ll soon be out on tour with Queen as their new lead singer, filling in for music legend Freddie Mercury, may he rest in peace!
“The song is basically saying, ‘I’m kind of a screw up, I do stupid things and continue to put my foot in my mouth, but be patient with me because I need you around — you’re the only person that gets me,’” Lambert told the Hollywood Reporter. “You’re the only person I feel comfortable with. All right Madonna fans, here’s your queen’s new music video for Give Me All Your Luvin’ (featuring Nicki Minaj and M.I.A. providing support). And you know what? It’s actually pretty good. Look, I rag on Madge a lot, because it’s easy and fun, but my God, you can never say she isn’t entertaining. And now, I will leave you to the inevitable Madonna / Gaga flame war. ARGUE FOR YOUR IDOL’S ATTENTION!
I am sorry but this music video is just plain fierce (and probably had a huge budget)! It’s for David Guetta‘s latest chart-topping dance single Turn Me On, featuring Nicki Minaj who is simply on fire at the moment (and is gearing up for the release of her sophomore album), proving she’s way more diverse than people might think. Of course I adore her arch nemesis Lil’ Kim (the true queen bee) but girlfriend has sadly doing very little to get herself back in the game. Right now it’s all about Nicki who will soon be dancing alongside Madonna at the Superbowl, since she’s featured on Madge’s new single. Nicki has become a massive international star in such a short period of time, I say more power to her, her success is well-deserved!
Look, I may be a practicing, card carrying homosexual (that’s right, we carry cards now) but that being said, I would flip so damn hard for Alexis Krauss of Sleigh Bells. She’s kinda badass like that. And her new music video for Comeback Kid features her in all her rocker chick glory, complete with awesome studded leather jacket. What can I say? I have a thing for clothing that can stab people.

The track is off her upcoming sophomore effort, Pink Friday: Roman Reloaded, which was originally due out on Valentine’s Day (February 14th) but was just pushed back until April 3rd. Let’s hope it’s as tight as her debut album, Pink Friday!
Like most of the western hemisphere, Santigold has had enough Lady Gaga, Katy Perry and Lindsay Lohan shoved down her throat to make her poop a copy of People magazine. In her new music video for Big Mouth, she takes aim at all three of them, asking if they could all kindly GTFO for like two seconds, so of course, fans of the three of them are blasting the video with typo-ridden comments. Yes, your at-best tenuous grasp of the English language is really changing our perception of you, fanboys and fangirls. Anyway, the video is awesome and the song is kick-ass, so watch it below!
So after a thoroughly depressing day full of people banding together to keep our Internet from becoming exactly like China’s, let’s just end on a high note here: Arpad Miklos. The gay porn star is in the new Perfume Genius (aka Mike Hadreas) music video for Hood, so here’s two minutes of Miklos half-naked and wearing funny masks. You’re welcome. And just remember: If SOPA and PIPA pass, you will never see awesome shit like this ever again. Do it for Arpad, people. Sexy, sexy Arpad Miklos.
More than a week has passed since our last post on Lana Del Rey (for her stunning and gorgeously shot Born To Die music video), so here’s a new song (accompanied by a ‘found footage’ style viral video) from Ms. Del Rey called Off To The Races which will appear on her upcoming debut album due out on January 31st. We’ve been writing about Lana since early August, this girl (now signed to Interscope) is going to be huge and will soon gain some much-deserved national exposure, you’ll be able to catch her as the musical guest on Saturday Night Live (while Daniel Radcliffe handles hosting duties) on January 14th!
Admittedly, I’m not the biggest David Guetta fan (some of his songs just sound a little too similar to me) but when he gets it right, he gets it right. His collaboration with Sia called Titanium is pretty much proof positive that for all the mindless dance music he makes, he can also craft a near-perfect track too.
