good morning everyone! last week UK tabloid magazine closer had victoria beckham pegged as being pregnant with her fourth child - and this week two of her fellow spice girls join her on the cover this week with the forecast of a 'spice baby boom' - again they're claiming posh is eating for two - melanie b supposedly picked up a pregnancy test - and geri halliwell is seeking a 'happy accident' after dating her new dancer boyfriend ivan 'flipz' velez for just eight weeks! it is kind of odd they're featuring posh two weeks in a row...maybe there really is something to the rumors? we'll have to be on beckham baby bump watch for the next few weeks! popbytes over & out for now...xxoo
good morning! i totally got a kick out of the latest cover of UK's heat magazine which is featuring hottie david beckham at the top - letting it be known that david gets his back, sack, & crack waxed (try to say back, sack, crack, wax 15x fast) normally that would be way too much information (TMI) but not when it comes to mr. beckham! now i'm all for manscaping & maintenance but waxing your balls sounds quite painful! david's wife victoria beckham is also featured on the cover with her 'bad skin days' - she's joined by keira knightley, lily allen, and billie piper - the magazine also has a bit on who is trying to ban all skinny celebrities - oh my gosh - that would be banning most of hollywood! popbytes over & out for now...xxoo!
good afternoon! i normally don't like to start rumors yet when i saw these recent pics of charlie sheen with his fiancee brooke mueller in las vegas (nov 16th) i couldn't help but notice that she does look pregnant! the dress she's sporting is totally along the lines of jennifer lopez's 'hide the baby bump' flowy & loose fitting outfits from the past few months - plus i do recall seeing an interview with mr. sheen that he'd like to have more kids...maybe the couple got started early? i could be completely wrong but you have to admit it does kind of look like she could have charlie's bun in the oven! i wonder what his ex-wife denise richards would have to say about this? she's still somebody i'm not crazy about at all - not that charlie is an angel but she irks me to no end - ugh! good evening everyone! i'm running a little behind tonight - i saw a screening this evening of that edith piaf biopic la vie en rose which was simply amazing - the actress who played ms. piaf - marion cotillard will get nominated for an oscar - no doubt - she was brilliant! expect a full post about the film before it lands in NYC, LA and SF next friday - june 8th!
anyways we've got one more tabloid cover for this week - another from the UK - below is heat which is featuring a 'shock report' on stars' weight changes! gosh after writing about this stuff for quite a while it still amazes me how much thought & fascination goes into celebrities & their weight! who can keep track of it all - one week britney spears loses five pounds and jessica simpson gains eight (at least kate bosworth is on the up swing from scary skinny) oh give me a break - unless these magazines have weighed them how can the be so darn 'exact' - but covers do sell magazines and people love to be on weight watch! maybe zagat's should do an annual 'celebrity weight report' but with all these numbers in constant fluxuation they'd probably need to do a weekly round-up!

good morning! back to the grind - and back to some tabloid stories going around this week! the brand new cover of UK's closer magazine features nicole richie and her ongoing weight battle which seems to be a story that just won't go away - hopefully she'll deal with whatever issues she may be having at the moment including dealing with her estranged mom! (at least last night's season premiere of the simple life was quite funny - i told myself i wouldn't watch it but i did - plus i laughed especially when paris & nicole had to help give a bunch of overweight campers enemas!) next to ms. richie is angelina jolie who her brother james says feels way too guilty to eat...
troubled angelina jolie has been so moved by her charity work that she feels too guilty to eat. her brother james haven voight is so worried that her health is failing because of the trauma of working with starving children and the recent loss of their mother. "she exhausts herself and at the moment she has a very low resistance level because she misses our mother so much and just longs for her all the time," he tells closer magazine.
"angie visited ethiopa an it changed her life. when she's there, there's often no food for her and she goes without. she's become used to periods of very little or no food so she has a much smaller appetite and a different attitude to it. it's hard for her to go back to the states and sit in a very expensive restaurant and order freely."

i've been loving some of the recent UK tabloid glossy magazines i've been posting on - many thanks to popbytes pal alex for sending along some fun covers! they're always great jumping off points for tossing some of my thoughts out there - and people seem to enjoy them! this week's closer features geri haliwell's (aka ginger spice) 'drastic plan' to look like victoria beckham (aka posh spice) i love these kinda stories where one gal is after another (a la single white female) like when ashlee simpsonwas afterjessica simpson's look! if geri does have some evil master plan i'd imagine that step one would be to secure a los angeles home so she can keep a close eye on victoria (second step would be trying to bang david beckham...that would be my first step!)
you gotta love the top right corner - that lady gave birth thirteen times and is still a size zero?!? what the hell did she give birth to? tadpoles?!? plus who really has 13 kids these days - that's a full house! over to the left there's some young girl addicted to tanning (her mum pays for her to go daily) although looking at the pic - she doesn't look very tan but maybe she is by english standards?

hey hey! i'm just about to watch the final performances on american idol but i've got a new UK tabloid glossy cover for ya - this week's heat magazine is all over the fact that celebrities have bad skin too...of course they do - everyone has some skin issues now & again (gosh i had horrible acne in high school - god bless accutane!) i love how the glossy gave the word 'bad' a bunch of pimples - a nice graphical touch! plus i totally got a kick out of victoria beckham superimposed standing against the american flag - and she's ready to bake cupcakes (i want sprinkles bitch!) now that's something i need to see - maybe we will on her upcoming NBC reality show! oh my gosh - thinking back on melrose place makes me feel warm & fuzzy inside (i know some of you must feel the same way) that show started off on a lame note but damn right around when 'kimberly' (played by marcia cross) came back from the dead (end of the 2nd season) and took off her wig revealing those nasty scars - oh my word - one of the best moments in television - ever! heather split from her husband of 12 years, bon jovi guitarist richie sambora, in december 2005; their divorce was finalized on april 11. meanwhile, jack has been separated from his wife, soap star kristina wagner, since they filed for divorce in 2005. as singles, heather and jack reconnected and "began pouring out their hearts to each other," adds another friend.
although heather had been seeing funnyman david spade, 42, on and off friend. since her marriage imploded, her bond with jack became stronger, says the friend. "in january, jack finally said, 'we're lonely - how about a movie?' the relationship has been building since then."
