hey hey! although i'd love to stay home tonight and watch the series premiere of V (which i'll tivo) i have to make my way down to the troubadour over in west hollywood to catch 22-year-old canadian pop sensation LIGHTS in concert (girlfriend's real name is valerie poxleitner) her debut album the listening was released a couple of weeks ago - it's totally decent and super catchy pop music - i'm curious to see how she does live! good morning! oh it seems like everyday is halloween for lady gaga ... she showed up to 13th annual ACE (accessories council excellence) awards last night in NYC with yet another totally bizarre zombie-like outfit - what kind of fuckery is this? what's up with the white powder all over her? gaga looks like she was rolling around at kate moss' party pad before she arrived! i can appreciate gaga's over the top costumes but i think she needs to calm her artsy ass down and take a chill pill - it's all a little too much! however as much as she annoys me sometimes - i am totally loving her new single bad romance which has been on repeat in my ipod - the song is super hot and will probably be yet another #1 hit for her! i still can't believe how huge she has become ... i was writing about her here on popbytes long before anybody knew who she was - now everyone knows who lady gaga is - including my own mom!
