oh no! there’s very sad news to report … actor patrick swayze passed away earlier today at age 57 after losing his two-year battle with pancreatic cancer … we knew this day was coming but that fact doesn’t make it any less sad :( i just talked to my mom – we watched dirty dancing so many times together back in the day (he was so damn handsome) it’s hard to believe he’s really gone (i loved him in ghost too) he for sure will be missed by everyone – my thoughts and prayers go out to his friends & family – especially his wife (of 32 years) lisa niemi … these past few months we’ve lost so many great people – we need a break from all this death and bad news! popbytes over & out for now … xoxo
Patrick Swayze, the hunky actor who danced his way into viewers’ hearts with “Dirty Dancing” and then broke them with “Ghost,” died today after a battle with pancreatic cancer. He was 57. “Patrick Swayze passed away peacefully today with family at his side after facing the challenges of his illness for the last 20 months,” said a statement released today evening by his publicist, Annett Wolf.
