hey everyone! for awhile i was totally obsessed with amy winehouse – even my mom told me to calm down with all my posts about her – over the past few months i’ve kind of put her out of my mind (right now there seems to be only room for whitney houston) but the other night i had the most realistic dream about ms. winehouse – i met her at some deli (i think in NYC) of course i immediately gushed and glowed about her music and kept asking her when she’ll put out some new material (i got no definitive answer) plus i bought her a bunch of little snacks … at least i wasn’t buying her drugs!
next month will mark three years since the release of back to black – the award-winning album i completely fell in love and listened to for months on end! we all know she’s made such a mess of herself (whitney never went where she did …) but i’m still holding out hope she’ll pull it together – these are shots of amy (dare i say clean and semi-sober?) out and about in london accompanied by a really cute guy – she even played a couple of songs at her friend’s jazz club! i’m praying for at the very least a new song in the early part of 2010 and it better be decent – she’s been in so many dramatic and fucked up situations – she has more than enough material to draw from and write about! girlfriend also needs to make sure to stay away from her junkie ex-hubby blake fielder-civil – he’s not good for her – ms. winehouse need to move onwards and upwards! popbytes over & out for now … xoxo
