the girl who took her llama to the dentist

last week i was at the dentist (unfortunately i’ll be going a couple of more times in the next few weeks – teeth are such a pain in the ass!) every time i go there – i can’t help but think of this classic sesame street clip i loved as a kid – a little ditty about some girl living in manhattan with a pet llama named mickey and takes him to the dentist (beware … the song will inevitably get stuck in your head) the whole scenario really doesn’t make any sense … who has a llama for pet – in NYC? plus i’d like to think her parents would have probably tagged along – but nope, it’s just her and the llama! god bless youtube for having the video – some youtuber made a comment that they lived in the city and llamas were a common pet – yet i lived in NYC for about seven years (before making the west coast jump) and i never saw a llama or knew anybody that had one … that person must be on something! so if anyone in the big apple has a llama – please let me know! popbytes over & out for tonight … xoxo
