the song is mediocre. this is proven by the fact the first part of the video the viewer thinks a breast is going to pop out and in the last segement when you think her hoo hoo is going to pop out.

and what was the deal with the queen latifa hair from chicago? that whole scene reminided me of the boy painted in gold in the karloff film BEDLAM. (1946 RKO)

Lmao @ rick... I was so late catching this song mainly because the whole album: I am Sasha Fierce, is a salute to Beyonce's alter ego, who apparently is capable of imagining herself as a boy... So between 'single ladies', 'halo' and "if i were a boy", I found myself lost for songs that reminded me of the earlier Beyonce, who was crazy in love and yet still a naughty girl. I happen to catch this video on MTV as it was coming on. I was blown away by the pop-ish beat and ultra hip dancing commonly known of Beyonce. When I paid attention to the lyrics I realized she encapsulates emotions common to people everywhere: falling into an emotional state much like a sweet dream that could just as easily turn out to be a beautiful nightmare. Bravo!
