hey everyone - it's almost hard to believe michael jackson has been gone for an entire week now - of course i can't seem to get MJ out of my mind - i was so saddened to see the small clip below released today of michael rehearsing the song they don't really care about us (one of my favorites) on june 23rd ... just two days before his untimely and sudden passing - originally i didn't know if he had enough stamina & strength to pull off his 50 london comeback shows but the video clearly shows he was up to the challenge ... what an amazing show it would have been ... i cannot believe no one will ever get to see the real thing! i seriously hope more footage from the rehearsal is released - it's our last chance to see what he was working on! also below you'll find the four covers entertainment weekly released to honor the life of michael jackson - plus there's a couple of shots of mr. jackson through the years (including one of him w/ princess diana) my gosh - what a strange week it has been - i still can't get over it! i'm thinking i might try to attend his memorial service being held at staples center on tuesday morning - tomorrow details are being released on how to secure free tickets - it's going to be a total zoo but i'd imagine it will be more organized than if it was held up at neverland - i'd really love to pay my final respects to the king of pop! popbytes over & out ... xoxo

MESSY MISCHA BARTON HAS ANOTHER LATE NIGHT FASHION DISASTER (LONDON, 06/30/09)
†FROM DJ PAUL V. I thought the news and current events were pretty damn crazy before the tragic and sad death of Michael Jackson, but wow ... nothing will ever top the news from June 25th. And even with MJ ruling all cable and news shows 24/7, I would be remiss to not feature him this week. While he has so many amazing, classic songs - he has almost as many mashups, it was very hard to pick just one. But I chose one featuring Britney Spears (courtesy of POMATIC) because it seems to say so much, and the pararells between these two won't go unnoticed. We all want more & more from our pop stars, almost to the point of killing them - or them slowly killing themselves. From the enablers to the drugs to the pressure of the press that picks them clean like vultures, I hope Michael's finally found his much-deserved peace.
