good evening! i guess you learn something everyday – i consider myself an average fan of glam rock legend david bowie but to be completely honest i had zero clue he had a son – duncan zowie haywood jones – born in 1971 to david’s first wife angie bowie (i can’t keep up with everyone – i wish i could – but i do try) the two were on the red carpet earlier tonight (you can definitely see the resemblance between father & son) at the 8th annual tribeca film festival for a screening of the new sci-fi thriller moon directed by duncan – his directorial debut! (bowie brought along his current wife – the lovely iman) so of course i raced over to youtube to check out the trailer and i think it looks amazing (watch it below) a futuristic tale of one man living on the moon for three years – eventually his mind starts to play tricks on him … or is something else really going on? the film stars sam rockwell (delivering what looks to be a tour-de-force performance) and should be getting a theatrical release in june – i must go see it! popbytes over & out for tonight … xoxo
