good evening! i hope everyone is having a lovely weekend so far – this morning i had to go to the eye doctor because last week i was cleaning my glasses and one of the arms snapped off – i was so angry – and of course they can’t be fixed – so i got to pick up a new pair of glasses (i went with a pair of clear oliver peoples) i can’t wait until they come in next week – i do wear contacts as well but sometimes your eyes need a break from ‘em! anyways my favorite mess amy winehouse is back down in st. lucia (without her infamous beehive) apparently she’s looking into buying a place there to chill & work on the way overdue follow-up to her grammy-nominated album back to black (i just tossed it back on my ipod … it’s still just as great as the first time i heard it) supposedly she’s going to preview some new songs as early as next month! (amy is working with producer salaam remi who helped craft her debut album frank) while she’s down there i’m hoping she can remain clean and sober (being removed from the london scene is probably key to her sobriety) and maybe she’ll pack on a few pounds – she can definitely use ‘em! girlfriend was just spotted on the beach (looking far less glamorous than she did for her court appointment a few weeks ago – her yellow tube top is barely covering her nipples … yikes!) plus amy took time out for a little horseback riding – which i haven’t done in years – i seriously need to investigate where in los angeles i can do that – i adore horses! popbytes over & out for tonight … xoxo
