good evening boys & girls! i swear 1986's 9½ weeks is one of the hottest movies ever - of course because of stars kim basinger and mickey rourke who lit the silver screen on fire with their sexy scenes (don't bother with the two direct-to-video sequels) it's hard to believe the two haven't seen each other since making that film over 23 years ago! (although micky said kim did send him a note while he was filming the wrestler (out on DVD this coming tuesday) with some encouraging words) last night at the hollywood premiere of the informers they were finally reunited on the red carpet (even though they do both star in the film - they didn't have any scenes together) unfortunately time has not been so kind to one-time sex symbol mr. rourke but ms. basinger still looks stunning at age 55 - of course girlfriend has dipped into the botox fountain of youth but overall kim looks fresh & fabulous for being over 50 - take that alec baldwin! tonight i'm just taking it easy - i have a semi-busy weekend ahead of me - on sunday i will be covering the red carpet at the TV land awards plus i just scored a ticket to attend the show as well (which is being hosted by major cutie neil patrick harris!) i hope everyone is having a stress-free friday night so far - popbytes over & out for tonight ... xoxo

Whoa - a blast from the past! 9 1/2 Wks was such a great movie back when and the soundtrack was awesome. Good to see Kim Bassinger out, she's such a recluse.
