oh i knew things were too quiet on the whole jamie lynn spears front – i smelled a storm brewing and i was right – E! online is reporting that she’s been working on a crafting a country album – and has already laid down a few tracks she’s shopping around to record labels (no deals have been struck as of yet) girlfriend wants to become a big star on the nashville scene – ugh – this marks the teenager’s first step back towards the entertainment scene since she had her daughter maddie briann this past june – she’s been engaged to baby daddy casey aldridge for a few months now but still no wedding – i doubt that will take place … just like i doubt she’ll have a successful recording career – does anybody really want to listen to britney spears‘ little sister sing country tracks? i think not! i have no ill will towards her but i just don’t need to hear another mediocre singer trying to ride the coattails of a relative – we already have plenty of those hanging around (i used to feel the same way about beyonce‘s little sister solange but now surprisingly i quite like her – i wonder if the same thing could happen with jamie lynn?) popbytes over & out for tonight … xoxo
