One wonders if Marley was inspired by the original 'Tainted Love' by Gloria Jones, as the melodies work so well together. And even if Marley never banged on a synthesizer in his short life, somehow it doesn't detract from the laid back, smile-inducing mood of his classic island love song. Irie, mon!
