good evening! hot on the heels of his golden globe win this past sunday for the wrestler - the comeback kid mickey rourke is now featured in a brand new campaign for PETA advocating spaying/neutering your pets - which really is the best thing you can do for 'em (plus it might help calm 'em down - my adorable chihuahua fidel ( who loves capri sun) was a bit on the nasty side but after fixing him - he's much better!) along with everyone else in hollywood - i'm thrilled mr. rourke is garnering awards for his performance (plus he's already picking up new jobs - like possibly starring in iron man 2 and the expendables) who doesn't appreciate a good comeback story and he's actually very talented - it's awesome he's getting a second chance (and hot damn - back in the day he was so freakin' hot...unfortunately time & plastic surgery hasn't been exactly kind to him...) popbytes over & out for now...xoxo

Mickey and Jaws star in PETA's latest ABC ad promoting spaying and neutering. In the tongue-in-cheek ad, Mickey and Jaws urge people to "[h]ave the cojones to fix your dog. When dogs get knocked up, puppies get put down because there aren't enough homes for them."
‘Have the Cojones to Fix Your Dog,’ Says Mickey Rourke in New Spay-and-Neuter Ad for PETA's ABC campaign is aimed at knocking out animal overpopulation. Every year, millions of unwanted dogs and cats are left at extremely crowded animal shelters, where most are put to death. Less fortunate unwanted animals are abandoned on the streets to fend for themselves and often become victims of traffic, disease, starvation, and extreme weather. Some are stolen by laboratory dealers or used as bait by dogfighters. Two simple surgeries—spaying and neutering—are the solution.
